Anybody remember the shoe bomber? In December 2001, a British man named Richard Reid attempted to blow up an American Airlines flight from Paris to Miami by hiding homemade bombs in his shoes. And since then - for the past 24 years - we have been taking our shoes off when going through airport security.

We can understand doing this for five, ten or even fifteen years. But after that if nobody tried to set off a bomb with their shoes, this edict should have been abolished.

The new goal of the Trump administration is exactly that. You walk in the door with your carry-on suitcase, walk through a scanner and go right to your plane. That will take one minute.

Imagine this - a pilot program showed TSA had the equipment needed to keep airports and aircraft safe while allowing people to keep their shoes on. Good morning America.

Here’s the real question:

What are they going to do with the army of “security experts” they suited up at the airport—the ones who were flipping burgers last week and now act like they’re high level police officers because they have a uniform? Barking orders like “shoes off, belts off, laptops out” like they’re storming a compound.

In what can only be called beyond infuriating, it appears that 2 out of 3 people living in quebec are on waiting lists to see a medical specialist. And they are waiting way past the allowable medical time for whatever is ailing them.

If the people in rural areas - Legault's base - want to vote for losers like him, they will continue to be the big losers, waiting 2 years to see a hip specialist.

There is currently a probe happening in Washington dealing with the Biden cover-up - trying to get to the bottom of who was really running the country while he was living in the White House but clearly not functioning as president.

Who hid the truth that Joe Biden was mentally unfit to be the president?

Who was running the country aside from his wife Jill?

Where was his doctor in all of this? He had to have known what was happening.

Did Jill Biden's chief of staff, a dude by the name of Anthony Bernal know what was going on? And if so, did he hide it?

Did Bernal know if any unelected official or family member executed the duties of the presidency?

All of these questions were asked at the probe in Washington and all received the same response: Bernal and Biden's doctor pleaded the fifth. They refused to answer even one question.

Between us, and if you remember, we think that this is a bigger scandal than Watergate. If you're too young to remember it, we encourage you to google it. When people testified at Watergate, only one or two of the dozens of people who testified pleaded the fifth.

Now? Nobody is talking. Come on. Do they really think that by not speaking out this is going to go away? Aux contraire.

The truth is, these people are protecting themselves more than Biden. If it got out that they knew he was mentally incompetent and covered it up - watch out.

We sincerely hope that anyone who pretended that Biden knew what was flying should be severely punished as they lied through their teeth for four years.

It appears that Zohan Mamdani is not quite what he appears to be. He is, in fact, a fantastic imposter. He spouts communism but in fact he's a spoiled snowflake. We hope you are not surprised.

Turns out this dude's parents are loaded and he lived off the fat of the land for quite a while. As he said, he was able to leave his job knowing if he ran out of money his parents would support him.

Mamdani’s father is a hard-Left professor at Columbia University, and his mother is a successful filmmaker who once owned a $2 million Chelsea loft in New York City. It gets better.

Little Zohan attended Bank Street, a prestigious Manhattan private school that now costs as much as $66,000 a year for elementary school students, before graduating from the Bronx High School of Science, one of the city’s best public schools.

As for Mamdani's work ethic - he bounced from one job to another - working on one of his mother’s movies, as a rapper, a campaign organizer, a part-time tutor and a foreclosure counsellor before winning a seat in the Assembly in 2020 where New Yorkers are now paying his salary. That's certainly one way to pay the rent.

We miss people like Margaret Thatcher who had the kahoonas to say it like it is: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money."

This dude believes in cancellation of student debt, medicare for all, free transportation and BDS.

No doubt if we probed further we would find out he believes in DEI, would encourage antisemitic protests including 'praying' in the middle of busy intersections to disrupt business and of course black lives matter. Who could forget that crock.

Who is paying for all this? Rich New Yorkers who don't deserve to be rich even if they started out with nothing and built their empire all by themselves.

New York politicians better get their act together or this guy is going to be the next mayor.

It's no secret that Montreal's mayor Valerie Plante has all but disappeared.

She is nowhere to be seen or heard. Alas, life goes on in Montreal.

It appears we may be faced, yet again, with a bus strike. Workers are saying that contract negotiations are sluggish and warning that the 2,400 maintenance staff are prepared to walk out again if their demands aren’t met.

The workers have been meeting with the city 2 or 3 times a week. Ah, but now it's summertime and the city negotiators are going on vacation for 3 weeks. We're guessing they will join Madame Plante as she has been on vacation for the entire summer.
