PARENTS OF SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN DESERVE BETTER...LONE VOICE IN A PIT OF SNAKES?...THE APPLE AND THE TREE SYNDROME

It's good to find out that we are not a lone voice out there. We are referring to an open letter to Anthony Housefather in our local newspaper in The Suburban.

The last paragraph hit the nail on the head:

"I believe your decision (to remain in the liberal party) was at least partly influenced by your perception that your riding will never elect a non-Liberal and you may be correct in that judgement... but is being re-elected more important than standing up for what is right?

Israel deserves and needs advocates in the Canadian Parliament but you are no longer in a position to act credibly in that capacity."

We have heard from more than one person that Housefather is angrily defending his decision to anyone who dares challenge him. Defensive attitudes occur because people are hitting a raw nerve.

Housefather's decision led him astray and in doing so, he not only lost his way, but lost all credibility - no matter how many times he is the 'lone voice' in his party - ostensibly standing up for the 30,000 Jews in his community.

Who wants to be a lone voice in a pit of snakes? In the end, you get bitten.

Where is Montreal's traitor to the Anglos Pascale Dery - Legault's minister of 'higher education'? Hiding behind Legault's jacket? On his lap? Under her desk? Away on vacation? And where was the education minister Bernie Drainville? Everything this guy touches turns to manure.

You can be very certain that many medias around the world picked up the story that representatives of the caq's fiefdom from the quebec education ministry refused to speak a word of English at an information meeting for parents with special needs children.

Walking this fiasco back, Drainville said it was a mistake in applying the rules.

Can we talk?

Parents who have children with special needs have enough on their plate without going to an information meeting where the presenter says she can't speak to them in English because it's against the law. Are they out of their minds?

In the rest of the world, it would be common decency - even if it meant breaking the law - to speak to those parents in a language they understand. Nope. In Legault's world, saving the French language trumps even a kid in a wheelchair.

After this went viral, Legault's minister of education Bernie Drainville walked the 'mistake' back quickly, throwing the presenter under the bus. The event will be redone in English.

These very useless, draconian language laws are never going to save the French language.

Young people are a lot smarter than Legault and all his minions put together. They know English is the language of business and high tech. Plus they all watch Netflix, are on TikTok and other social media sights - all in the dreaded English language.

Legault, Bernie Drainville, Madame Dery and all those who insist that English is the big boogy man are delusional and we are paying the price.

On Tuesday, Google employees occupied the California office of the CEO Thomas Kurian for more than eight hours to demand the company stop doing business with Israel.

The protests were announced in internal emails to employees that shared a list of demands, including that Google drop its $1.2 billion contract with Israel for Project Nimbus, a cloud-computing project of the Israeli government.

Demands included - and we did not make these up:

...Google cease all “business with the Israeli apartheid government and military,”

...Google stop the “harassment, intimidation, bullying, and silencing,” of Palestinian and Muslim employees

...Google address the “health and safety crisis” among workers who are rattled over their labor being used to “enable a genocide.”

We particularly enjoyed that the workers are 'rattled'. Rattled?

Ask any one of those morons to find Israel on a map. Then ask them where gaza is. Then ask them what Israel looked like 75 years ago and what it looks like now. Then compare Israel to gaza which, except for the insanely rich hamas leaders, looks like it did 75 years ago - a third-world tribal community.

In case you were wondering, the picture with this article is a 'rattled' Google employee playing on his phone.

We wonder why Ilan Omar stays in the USA. She hates the country, despises the people who live there and never has anything good to say.

Just leave. Nope. Not only does she stay, she taught her daughter to do the same I-hate-America bs that she does. The apple in the tree syndrome.

Her daughter was arrested at Columbia University after she was suspended from Barnard College for refusing to leave the anti-Israel encampment,

Those of us in Gaza Solidarity Encampment will not be intimidated, We will stand resolute until our demands are met. Our demands include divestment from companies complicit in genocide, transparency of Columbia’s investments and FULL amnesty for all students facing repression.”

We hope she is expelled from Barnard and not allowed into any university anywhere in the United States. Omar along with her daughter and her daughter's friends don't deserve to live in the US. They should all be deported and sent to gaza where they seem to think life is perfect.

UPDATE TO THE GOOGLE STORY:

Three cheers for Google. They fired the 28 employees who protested the company’s cloud contract with the Israeli government.

We can't believe it, but finally there is an adult in the room.

Here's part of Google's statement: ....they physically impeded other employees’ work and prevented them from accessing our facilities. This is a clear violation of our policies, and completely unacceptable behavior.” Bravo.

In the how-dumb-can-bureaucrats-be department, Montreal's geniuses have surpassed even themselves.

In Montreal during the summer, the Lachine Canal attracts thousands of visitors daily.

They walk, run, come with their kids on bikes, walk their dogs, take their babies for a walk in strollers etc.

So what did Montreal bureaucrats do?

They removed ALL the trashcans from the entire length of the Lachine Canal boardwalk.

Why did they do this you ask?

To encourage citizens to take responsibility for the management of waste destined for landfill sites.

You simply cannot make up this kind of stupidity.

What we want to know is have none of these people ever gone for a walk, say with their dog who poops along the way? What are the owners supposed to do with hot dog poop? Carry it around for an hour?

Or you're walking and finished your water bottle, but have another one. You're supposed to carry around the empty bottle for your hour walk?

What is even more insane is that someone actually got paid to think this bs up.

Please note: As the first days of Passover end on Wednesday evening, there will only be on blog next week on Thursday.

Good Shabbos,

Happy Passover

We'll talk...
