And He's Gone. Good Riddance...Our Totally Disconnected Prime Minister...Avi Lewis is a Useful Yidiot...No Shortage of Idiots...

Not speaking French and delivering an emotionally flat condolence message to the families of the two fallen pilots last week was only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Michael Rousseau leadership at Air Canada. And this comes because he loaded the board with his cronies who didn't want to fire their friend.
The real story? This has been years in the making.
Since taking over from Calin Rovinescu, Rousseau has turned Air Canada into a case study in poor judgment and tone-deaf leadership.
First came the 2021 bonus scandal. While workers were being laid off and the airline was leaning on government support, senior executives including Rousseau took bonuses tied to prior compensation. They eventually returned the money, but the damage was done. It screamed one thing: terrible judgment.
Then there was the pandemic and the chaotic travel rebound in 2022. Delays, cancellations, and customer service that ranged from bad to nonexistent. Through it all, leadership under Rousseau was completely disconnected from passenger frustration. Not surprising as is modis operendi is the word absent.
Fast forward to last summer’s flight attendant crisis. Under his leadership, the labour dispute was allowed to fester until it became a public spectacle, right in peak travel season. A preventable problem that turned into a full-blown PR fiasco.
And when it was over? The second-tier executives paid the price and got fired. The inner circle in bed with Rousseau all kept their very well-paying cushy jobs.
Rousseau wasn’t just ineffective, he consistently misread the moment, the public, and the people he was supposed to lead.
His exit is long overdue thanks to a board that covered for each other. We guess that there are likely many employees inside Air Canada jumping up and down on their desks, ecstatically telling him not to let the door hit is behind on the way out.

One has to wonder exactly how profoundly disconnected Mark Carney is from reality. Or, why his inner circle puts out statements that do not reflect what is actually happening on the ground.
Case in point: He expressed 'disappointment' over Israel's decision to prevent the Latin patriarch of Jerusalem from marking Palm Sunday at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
"These actions further violate the longstanding status quo of Jerusalem's Holy Sites."
Does this moronic jerk not know that missiles are falling on Israel day and night?
Does he not know that the Jews holiest place in the world, the Kotel has been closed for two months and will remain closed for the entire Passover?
Would he rather that little walk take place and by accident a piece of shrapnel falls on all the people, maiming and killing them thanks to Iran?
He’s a hollow, emotionally empty, arrogant piece of work, out of touch, out of depth, and entirely uninterested in anything that doesn’t serve his wallet or his circle or the new world order.
He's another one that needs the door not to hit him on the way out.

The happiest person in Canada after Avi Lewis 'won' the leadership of the NDP party was Mark Carney.
With the exception of the most tree-hugging left of left of left snowflakes in the NDP party, the majority cannot possibly be supporting someone like Avi Lewis. And where are those votes going to land? With the liberal party.
For starters Lewis is certainly not one of the plebs as he wants his loyal followers to believe as he grew up going to private schools and has plenty of money. But that's just the tip of the iceberg.
While he was giving his 'acceptance' speech, his flock were waving palestinian flags and three moronic keffiyeh wearing geniuses were standing behind him, cheering him on. There was not even a hint of a Canadian flag anywhere.
We strongly suggest that if Lewis and his flock so hate Canada and are so enamoured with those living in gaza they move there en masse because nothing says conviction like praising a place you have no intention of actually living in. But we digress.
It's a very sad commentary that in our country someone like Lewis can reach the point where he is head of a party. Even if that party is most likely going to implode. As one very astute Blanche reader wrote to us:
Avi Lewis is beloved by the antisemites. They are thrilled that they can now say, “How can you call us antisemitic if we have a Jewish leader?" He is their very precious useful Yidiot.

You may have heard about the no king's protest which took place all over the US this past weekend.
In essence, liberals do not like the way Trump is governing them and took to the streets to oppose what they deem as authoritarian leadership in the U.S.
You will clearly not be shocked to know that the largest protests took place in the biggest democratic cities: Minneapolis had by far the largest single rally, then NY, Washington, D.C. and Chicago.
Don't be fooled by the name of the protest. They were organized anti-Trump, anti-white, anti-rich rallies paid for no doubt by people like George Soros.
As for, Trump he was legally elected president. He won. Get a grip, wait another three years, and then there will be a chance to elect someone else. However, if the Democrats run another candidate like Kamala Harris, they risk losing again and facing another four years of a Republican president.
The whole thing was one big farce, giving people an activity for the weekend.

Remember last week we told you Vanier College had cancelled its Holocaust remembrance ceremony? They also told Holocaust survivor Eva Kuper to stay home.
Well, they clearly saw the error of their ways and have rescheduled the event. Alas, they have not yet given a date for said event. Our guess is that it will happen underground. Meaning only those who are invited will see when and where it is.
Vanier along with McGill and Concordia have done nothing to stop Jewish students from being regularly attacked on their campuses after October 7. One has to wonder exactly who is running these very illustrious institutions.
Clearly nobody who knows any history of the middle east nor anyone with a smidgeon of moral clarity, or the basic responsibility to ensure the safety of every student under their care.
And of course, when the money starts drying up, even the biggest idiots take notice. No shortage of fools out there, eh Blanche?

Please note that Passover begins tomorrow night and as such, there will not be a Blanche report on Thursday. The next report will be Monday, April 6.
We wish all of our Jewish readers a happy and healthy Passover and may we see everlasting peace in Israel and the world over. In the meantime, we will pray for Israel, our soldiers and all those running to shelters day and night.
We'll talk...
