ANTHONY HOUSEFATHER'S SILENCE IS DEAFENING. OUR GUESS IS THAT HE IS MOST LIKELY STAYING WITH JUSTIN WHICH IS A WEAK, PURELY SELFISH CHOICE... & THE FOG OF WAR & DUMPING ON ISRAEL.

As a Jew nothing in the liberal party aligns with Anthony Housefather's professed love of Israel. Nor does it align with Quebec Anglos who Anthony also professes to love, who were tossed under the bus by Justin.

The latest smack Justin gave Israel is his insistence that there be an international inquiry into the accidental drone hit on that volunteer van in gaza. Read some sane words on that below.

If it is true that Housefather is not leaving the liberals, and we are more than guessing he is not, he is nothing more than a self-serving politician. Nothing more.

We don't want to hear another word from him that he is looking out for his constituents. He is not. He is looking out for one person. Anthony Housefather. The fog of war? Anthony has the fog of indecisiveness.

And one day he will deeply regret this cowardly decision, covering his own behind. Absolutely disgusting.

The accidental drone strike on a van carrying volunteers in gaza was a terrible mistake by Israel. We have read much about this and decided to share what Michael Oren said.

He was Israeli Ambassador to the United States and is a voice of reason. He is not hiding the mistake Israel made, nor making excuses.

Rather, he is putting it into perspective. We hope his words will give you some clarity in a world that is looking and now has found, yet another reason not to support Israel after October 7.

"Israel, he said, is “facing a military challenge unlike any ever faced by a modern army” in Gaza. “That is not to excuse what happened, but help explain it,” he said. “And the people responsible for this will have to explain how it happened.

Oren lamented a failure of Israel to control the narrative. “We’re not doing nearly enough to explain the reality of Gaza to the world and the challenges Israel faces,” he said, referring to the nightmarish task of trying to eliminate a hostile force that hides among a civilian population.

“Every bombing operation by the Israeli Air Force goes through a very lengthy approval process. Things can go wrong in intense combat, but it is anything but indiscriminate. Quite the opposite. It is intensely supervised, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t mistakes; we’re dealing with human beings.

...Nothing in terms of Israel’s interests, in terms of our essential security interests, that is in any way remotely enhanced by this incident.

On the contrary, it is greatly impaired by this. It increases the pressure on us to agree to a cease-fire. It increases pressure on the Biden administration to come down harder on Israel.”

He added: “We need to take responsibility for our mistakes, but we can’t take responsibility for the war. This is Hamas’s war.”

Which brings us to Justin, the fool who masquerades as our prime minister.

He is calling for an international inquiry regarding the accidental drone hit on that van.

Would he just shut up. Nobody cares what he says. He does not have the right to say a word because he never went to Israel to see, for himself, what hamas did on October 7.

And this is what Housefather can't bear to leave? This is the party he is staying with? To be what? A hero?

He's not a hero. He's a self-serving coward. He's afraid if he moves over to the conservatives he won't get elected. He is putting his own interests before being a Jew.

The attack on the Iranian embassy in Damascus last week is coming back to Israel. Ambassadors have been recalled worldwide and told not to go to any public events.

Israel scrambled its own navigational signals over the Tel Aviv metropolitan area today as the country prepared for a potential Iranian attack.

Traffic was delayed, food delivery disrupted and transportation applications showed Tel Aviv residents to be in Beirut, Lebanon. The measures were taken by Israeli officials to disrupt GPS-navigated drones or missiles that Iran or its proxies might fire at the country.

Israel hasn’t issued new security directives to its citizens since the Damascus strike, but the military paused leave for all combat units and bolstered manpower in its air defense units.

Joe Biden had a call with Benjamin Netanyahu today. The highlights? Biden called for an immediate ceasefire.

Here's our take: In order for Israel to engage in a ceasefire, they need incentive and that would be the release of the hostages. All the living ones.

hamas are making unrealistic demands including that Israel leave gaza. Never mind that they want murderers released from Israeli prisons.

How is that a fair exchange? Hostages kidnapped from their homes at gunpoint in exchange for those who have murdered Israelis?

The mistake of hitting that volunteer van is going to haunt Israel for a long time. It gave fodder to all the countries - basically the world - to keep going after Israel for creating a 'humanitarian crisis'.

Again we ask the question: Where are the Arab countries during the humanitarian crisis? Why are they not taking in their bros? Why are they not feeding them? Why is this Israel's problem? They did not start this war. hamas did and one of the results of what they started is a humanitarian crisis.

Not to sound cynical, but it certainly suits hamas perfectly to keep their people starving and in the line of fire. Look how the world is turning on Israel.

We hope everybody got their special glasses to watch the eclipse on Monday beginning at 2:14 pm. We didn't. We're staying inside and will look at the walls.

By the excitement and endless discussion in our four cubits, this is a big deal. And if one is in the science field, it's off the charts monumental.

For those of us who don't really care, enjoy your walls and don't peek. That's serious business. And for those who are waiting to see the eclipse enjoy the view, take pictures and send us some.

Good Shabbos

We'll talk...
