Mark Carney gave a speech today at his party's retreat in quebec city. Here's one sentence of what he said:
“In a time of rising populism and ethnic nationalism, Canada can show how diversity can be a strength, not a weakness. In a time of democratic decline, we can show how rights can be protected, and equal freedoms endure."
We're not quite sure which Canada he lives in, but the one we live in shows very clearly that rights are absolutely not protected. Nor do equal freedoms endure.
We cite the multiple examples of Jew-haters marching in the streets, intimidating shoppers trying to get into stores owned by Jews, dropping carpets in the middle of busy intersections to 'pray', forcing synagogues and schools to hire security guards because the government is not protecting them properly.
As for equal freedoms, here's a question little Anthony Housefather, who drippingly fawns all over Carney can ask (if he has the kahoonas): Where are the equal freedoms for the Jews in Canada? When one Jew with an Israeli flag gets arrested because he is inciting a rabid Jew-hating mob, well, that's definitely not an equal freedom.
Justin was stupid. Carney is cunning and slimy. Pick your poison.

And one more thing about Carney: Since his speech in Davos, the media in Canada cannot stop drooling over him. Literally.
We can only tell you that the couple living in some small town in Newfoundland could care less that he got a standing ovation in Davos among the very rich and famous.
They want to know why eggs in the US are $1 a dozen and in Canada is around $4 a dozen. They want to know why their housing costs are rising. They want to know why they can't find a doctor.
They don't care that Carney knows the meaning of the word hegemon, which incidentally means something (such as a political state) having dominant influence or authority over others.
Clearly Carney has a plan for Canada which also very clearly includes him being viewed as an world statesman. He's full of it. His wife works for a US company. His kids go to school in the US. Coming to Canada was a downgrade for them.
We don't know about you, but we certainly hope Pierre Poilievre knocks it out of the park at his convention next weekend. He better or we are all toast.
On April 12 the new leader of the CAQ will be chosen to replace Legault.
If we were the leader of the PQ separatist party, we would be begging someone like Bernard Drainville or Justice Minister Simon Jolin-Barrette to run and then pray he wins.
That way, nobody in their right mind would vote for the caq. If they manage to find a new, young face to lead their party is the worst thing that can happen for Plamondon.

It appears Donald Trump knows he can't run again for president so he's doing the next best thing...creating a new version of the United Nations.
Truthfully, the UN could be the most useless organization known to man.
His new organization is called the Board of Peace and he is the chairman. There are, as of now, 35 countries have committed to join, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Turkey, and Belarus.
Not exactly stalwarts of democracy. To keep your position in the exclusive club, payment of $1 billion is required in 3 years.
We agree with him that the UN is totally useless, completely corrupt from top to bottom, starting with unrwa.
Time will tell if this works and Trump can keep himself viable after he leaves the Oval Office.

The killing is still going on in Iran and the world's tree-hugging, Jew-hating liberals are still silent.
Numbers of those massacred seems to be hitting close to 20,000.
The internet is blocked so getting stories out of there is almost impossible. Yet, people are managing to smuggle some very horrific pictures out.
In the world we live in today, if the Jews are not involved, nobody cares.

Melanie Joly, our erstwhile Minister of Industry claims Canada will be an EV and autonomous vehicle power house. No date when that will be.
She also claimed that Canada is going to spend $80 billion on drones in military equipment over the next five years.
We are currently running an $80 billion a year deficit. Exactly how are we paying for this?
How anyone can take anything she says seriously is beyond our imagination. And clearly, she has a very vivid imagination.
Unfortunately, she's not writing books, she is the industry minister. How she can say, with a straight face, that Canada will be any kind of power house boggles the mind.
Does she not know that EV's can hold about 2/3 of the normal charge in cold weather? Or that there are not nearly enough charging stations in Canada? Or, get this one: In the next few days we are going to experience a polar vortex which, translated into English means it's going to be as cold as the arctic.
Nobody is sure the power grids can handle everyone's heating going full blast. And that's with most people using gas cars. Imagine if everybody stayed home, heated their houses and the whole country had to charge their cars?
She must think we are as dense as she is. Here's a headline: We're not and she will be mercifully long gone in the next five years.

Well, new statistics have emerged concerning Montreal's said mode of transportation.
This train, built in India, runs outside and is very, very delicate. It is supposed to run daily but since its inauguration, has run, at best, 4 times a week. The rest of the time it is OOO - out of order.
The trains are not able to deal with the cold weather and they keep having 'technical' difficulties. Your tax dollars at work.
Good Shabbos and keep warm
We'll talk...
