When Hamas attacked the Nova music festival in Israel on Oct. 7, Yuval Raphael, now 24 from Ra'nana in Israel, went from dancing with friends to hiding in a bomb shelter.

After attackers broke into the shelter and started shooting, Raphael played dead, lying under dead bodies with shrapnel in her leg for eight hours until she was rescued.

"When I was there, I realized that everything could be over in a moment, and you don’t want your life to end without experiencing it." Not long after the attacks, Raphael resolved to follow her long-held dream of becoming a professional singer.

Yesterday, she came second place in Eurovision. It wasn't an easy ride by any stretch of the imagination. Antisemitism reared its head from every corner of the globe.

As Raphael performed, a few hundred people staged an anti-Israel protest in Basel, Switzerland (where Eurovision was held), accusing Israel of genocide and calling for it to be barred from the competition.

Blows were exchanged and police used tear gas and rolled in a water cannon truck as they worked to block demonstrators from marching through the center of the northern Swiss city.

Now for your part. Remember these countries next time you plan a vacation: Ireland, Spain, Slovenia and Belgium.

The public broadcasters of those countries appealed to the European Broadcaster Union to ban Israel from the competition. The organizers responded that they would hold a “wider discussion amongst members in due course.”

Both the Belgian and Spanish broadcasters aired pro-Palestinian messages ahead of and during the Eurovision broadcasts. Spain’s national TV company flashed a screen that read in English and Spanish: “When human rights are at stake, silence is not an option. Peace and Justice for Palestine.”

In the end, Yuval persevered and came in second. Bravo! Bravo!

For the Jewish people, she is a national hero. Imagine that before taking the stage Raphael issued a special thanks to the Shin Bet officers who secured the Israeli delegation during their stay in Basel.

The world is upside down. But sometimes one has to turn the globe upside down for the dirt to fall out and the stars to emerge.

In our last blog, we called out the Democrat Party and the handlers who pretended Biden was fit for a second term when it was painfully obvious he wasn’t.

The big elephant in the room is... who was running the show? Who went into the situation room with or without him in the middle of the night when he was sleeping and there was a crisis somewhere in the world? Don't forget he stopped working at 4:00 pm everyday.

In case his people think everyone else to be complete idiots, most people are aware that there are many time zones in the world. So when it was 4:00 pm on a Sunday in Washington it was 5:00 am in Toyko and people were just waking up.

Jake Tapper wrote a book about this entitled Orignal Sin. He delves into Bidens decline, its cover-up and his failed choice to run again. Very nice but between us, doesn't it look like Tapper is covering his rear end?

He works for CNN and was part of that cover-up for quite a while. Otherwise he would have been fired.

All of this really came out into the open after that fateful debate with Trump where Biden couldn't put two words together and people were left gasping at not only what he had become, but who in their right mind could think he be put on live national television, never mind run for president.

Update: Biden has just been diagnosed with prostate cancer. It appears it is aggressive, but also very curable. We wish him well. Interesting though how this shows up two days before Tapper's book is to be released. Just saying.

Mark Carney went to pope Bob's inauguration in Rome today.

Not to be a catty - meow, meow, but did anyone take a gander at his wife? She looks emaciated, literally like a hanger for her clothes. What is with this woman?

Here's a headline: She's now the first lady of Canada representing our country.

Get in the game, get a grip and put on some makeup or stay home. Showing up like she just finished a 26 km marathon won't cut it.

No wonder she never appears anywhere.

We'll talk...
