Don’t Look For Justin Trudeau. He’s So Stressed, He needed a Vacation.

In case you were wondering where Justin Trudeau is, wonder no more. He went on vacation to Florida, to a private island. He needed to get away from the pressure. It was just too much for him. No comment.

After the horrific, second crash of a Boeing 737 Max 8 jet on Sunday in Ethiopia, the entire EU and China have grounded the planes. The US (who makes the planes) and Canada, have not grounded the planes. What’s up with that? Get the planes out of the air until they know why two planes fell out of the sky for no apparent reason.

The first crash, almost exactly like the second, happened less than five months ago, after a Lion Air Boeing 737 Max 8 crashed in Indonesia in October, killing all 157 people on board. Both times the planes went down minutes after take-off, seemingly hitting the ground at full force, nose-first, exploding upon impact.

Not that we are aviation experts, but planes do not just fall out of the sky. There’s something wrong with this plane and until it gets fixed, it should be grounded worldwide. Perhaps Marc Garneau, our Minister of Transport can get in touch with Trudeau while he’s on vacation and discuss this matter. That is, if Trudeau will take his call.

It appears that the liberal beauties in Hollywood are getting to eat some of their own ideas and they are not happy. And, as always, when liberals lives are actually affected, they suddenly don’t like their ideas anymore. Perhaps someone should go and speak with Ocasio Cortez regarding her insistence on making America Venezula.

The case in point here were wealthy liberals insistence that less white men and women be accepted to university, and more ‘people of color’ be accepted. No problem with that, except the spaces for white people dropped and these rich, entitled liberals’ children could not get into college. Uh oh. Wait. Could it also be that they were not smart enough to get in?

The parents of said children ‘cleverly’ devised a scheme in which they bribed college coaches, administrators and other insiders to get their children into some of the nation’s most elite schools. One movie star allegedly gave $500,000 to have her two daughters labeled as recruits to the USC crew team, even though neither participated in the sport. Wait Blanche. It gets much better.

They had a consultant hire ringers to take college entrance exams for students, and paid off insiders at testing centers to alter students’ scores. They also made huge donations to the schools that they wanted their children to attend. Prosecutors said parents were also instructed to claim their children had learning disabilities so that they could take the ACT or SAT by themselves, with extended time.

Lest you think we are kidding, here’s a list of the schools involved: Yale, Stanford, Georgetown, Wake Forest, the University of Texas, the University of Southern California and the University of California, Los Angeles. It seems that a former Yale soccer coach pleaded guilty and helped build the case against others.

What are liberals going to do? For one thing, plead guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud, punishable by up to 20 years in prison. Let’s be real. They will most likely not do prison time. Rather, they will pay a hefty fine and do ‘community’ work. The big question to ask is what happens to these entitled children? Do they get to stay or do they write the entrance exams like everyone else and let the chips fall where they may? It may hurt their sensibilities and they would have to run and eat a kale-quinoa-seaweed salad.

The Prime Minister of Great Britain, Theresa May is in some serious trouble. The House of Commons tonight voted against her Brexit deal for the second time.

What happens if there is no deal by this March 29 when Britain is set to leave the EU?

Trade The UK would revert to World Trade Organisation rules on trade. The price of goods in shops for Britons could go up as businesses would have to place tariffs on goods imported from the EU. Some British-made products may be rejected by the EU as new authorisation and certification might be required. Manufacturers could move their operations to the EU to avoid delays in components coming across the border.

People There could be long delays at borders if passport and customs checks are heightened. The fate of expats – there are 1.3 million Britons in EU countries and 3.7 million Europeans in Britain – in terms of their rights to live and work would be unclear. Professionals working in the EU might find their qualifications are no longer recognised, meaning they are no longer able to practice. Flights to the EU could be grounded as the necessary safety confirmations to cover both ends of the journey might not be in place.

Money The Government would not have to pay the annual £13 billion contribution to the EU budget. However Britain would lose out on some EU subsidies – the Common Agricultural Policy gives £3 billion to farmers.

The Irish border The issue of the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic would remain unresolved. While physical infrastructure has been vetoed, the border would become an external frontier for the EU in the event of a no deal Brexit. There would be pressure to enforce customs and immigration controls.

This could be one of the biggest crap shoots of the century. Leaving the EU with no deal would be nothing short of a disaster. Our bet is that they will extend the March 29 deadline.

Some old news that was just made public: Lawyer Michael Avenatti announced his departure from representing porn star Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford. Easy come, easy go.

Ocasio Cortez and her group are making very sure that Trump gets re-elected in 2020. Blanche, don’t you wonder if it’s actually the republicans secretly funding her? Do you think democrats are that stupid? We don’t think we need to answer that. She and her cohorts are simply the gift that keeps on giving.

We’ll talk…
