Entitlement Personified=Air Canada...Shame on Vanier College...Some Sanity in the Olympics...Sleazeballs Are Running our Country...

What languages the CEO of Air Canada, Michael Rousseau can speak is only part of his problem.

We watched all 3 minutes and 35 seconds of his video on the Air Canada crash at LaGuardia. Not once did he say the names of the two pilots who were killed.

Let’s correct that. Their names were Antoine Forest and Mackenzie Gunther.

They were not props in a narrative or faceless “crew members” that he glossed over. They were real people with families, friends, and lives that mattered. And yet Rousseau's writers could not find a place in his ridiculous video to acknowledge them.

That’s not just insensitive, it is dispassionate, reaching a level of detachment that is simply callous.

As for Rousseau not speaking French here's our take: It was very obvious that he was reading from a teleprompter and had to concentrate so hard it took up all his brain power just to get the words out, causing him to read with less than zero emotion. Given that, he still made two mistakes.

How difficult would it have been to a) insert the names of the pilots killed and b) say one or two sentences in French to his family. Read the words phonetically. Clearly, practising seems to be beneath this arrogant dude.

Mr. Rousseau comes across as an emotionless robot... stiff, entitled and uncomfortable. We are guessing that he thinks having to deal with the plebs of the world is well beneath is class level. And that includes the two pilots who were killed in that horrific crash.

He needs to publicly apologize to the families of the young pilots who died. In French for Antoine Forest and in English for Mackenzie Gunther.

Today Rousseau re-issued a statement. It sucked and was read again with zero compassion and sounded like he was giving Quebec the middle finger.

As for the french media in Quebec having a hissy fit, nobody in the ROC (rest of Canada) gives a rats if he speaks in French. Get a grip.

Given that, we are going to go back to the beginning of this piece: Rousseau's complete lack of any sensitivity to the families of the dead pilots is equally as disgusting as his not speaking any French.

In a completely cowardly move, Vanier College in Montreal has called off a Holocaust commemoration for the six-million murdered Jews it has held annually for 33 years. Mrs. Eva Kuper was scheduled to speak about how she survived the Holocaust and was told to stay home.

When Kuper was a baby, her mother managed to hand her off a train bound for a death camp and was never seen again. Then her father hid her away with a Polish nun for the remainder of the war.

And why did they cancel this memorial and drop Eva Kuper? "Ensuring the safety of all our guests and the college community remains our priority."

Can we talk? Those running Vanier college are a) snowflakes and b) lying through their teeth. Instead of protecting the Jews on their campus, they are caving to the Jew-haters. Just look at what Eva Kuper's mother did. She knew what was coming and saved her daughter. It behooves us to show the stark contradiction between these generations.

How about this: Look down, find your kahoonas and stand up to those people. Call the police and tell them that those running around shrieking about how wonderful gaza and hamas are will not deter us from doing the right thing.

Instead, they are cowering like rats before masked, keffiayeh-wearing losers who could not find Israel on a map and are getting paid to foment fear.

Just disgusting.

Takes a sleazeball to know a sleazeball. We are referring to Michael Wa, the ex-conservative who crossed the floor running into the waiting arms of Mark Carney. He sits right beside Mark Carney in parliament and went with him on his trip to China.

Today, we got an inkling as to exactly how sleazy this Wa dude really is. During a committee hearing today, he badgered an academic witness trying to downplay persistent allegations of forced labour in Xinjiang, China.

Now why would he want to do that? Oh, maybe because he is a member of the industry committee, which is currently studying the federal government's electric vehicle policies.

While in China Carney and Ma made a deal that it would accept some Chinese electric vehicles into the country at a lower tariff rate, in an apparent quid-pro-quo deal to get Chinese tariffs lifted off of canola and other items. Blanche, do you smell a rat yet?

He kept going after the witness Margaret McCuaig-Johnston who is a senior fellow at the University of Ottawa. She has served as a federal assistant deputy minister and holds a master's degree in international relations focused on China.

He kept asking her if she ever saw slave labor in all her trips to China. If you are looking to see why this guy is in bed with Carney, you now have your answer.

Does anyone in their right mind think China is going give tours of their slave labor camps?

What he did today looked and sounded like he was trying to get the witness to say that because she never saw the slave labor in China it doesn't exist.

Here is the real response: The Uighurs are a Turkic ethnic group one of China's 55 recognized minorities.

Since 2014, they have been subject to intense repression and mass detention in internment camps by the Chinese government, leading to international accusations of human rights abuses.

He tried to pretend that China is lily white and in doing so undermined a credible witness. Carney, Ma and the witness all know China is one of the worst countries when it comes to human rights violations.

At the end of this fiasco, McCuaig-Johnston offered Ma a copy of the Human Rights Watch report. His response? He doesn't believe in reports. What a jerk.

In the good-morning-America department, the International Olympic Committee announced on Thursday that men who identify as women cannot compete in any female Olympic event, with implementation of the rule beginning at the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles.

The committee called its decision “evidence-based and expert-informed.

That the committee even had to utter those words - evidence-based and expert-informed is off the charts absurd.

We have zero issue with men who identify as women. Go for it. Buy the best makeup, the nicest dresses, the fanciest shoes and the most up-to-date purses.

But do not expect to compete with women in sports. You were born a man which by virtue gives you more strength, power and endurance. It's a physcial thing. Not evidence based. And not expert informed. Please.

Why does this committee have to excuse themselves for doing what is correct? If you are a man, you compete in the men's part of the games. If you are a woman, you compete with other women. End of story.

Not quite. It's no secret that we are Trump supporters. Last February he signed an executive on Keeping Men out of Women's Sports and also warned the International Olympic Committee about allowing men to compete in women’s sports, saying that you cannot change your sex. Looks like they listened to him.

Now we're at the end of this piece.

Here's a no-brainer. The answer is no.

And the question: Gay Pride leaders say they need $9 million from federal Liberals to fund their parades.

Can we talk? You want to have a parade? Go get sponsors like everybody else and have your parade. Stop whining like little snowflakes.

But wait, there's more, If you find that people are not giving you money, go buy a mirror and take a good long look in it. It means that nobody cares about your parade and running like little babies to use our tax dollars ain't happening. Never mind that these parades have morphed into a freak shows.

And the head freak in Canada is none other than Olivia Chow, the mayor of Toronto. She manages to go to every gay pride parade but has yet to find five minutes to go to any Jewish event.
