It took nearly the entire campaign for Canadians to see who Mark Carney really is — and it’s not pretty.

Carney blatantly lied when he claimed his conversation with Donald Trump was “positive.” When pressed on the contradiction he got irritated. "Do you know who I am?" How dare you ask me such a question. Give us a break.

Eventually, he had to admit the truth: Trump did repeat his threat to annex Canada as the 51st state during their March 28 call — a far cry from “respecting Canada’s sovereignty,” as Carney smugly claimed at the time.

The lie wasn’t harmless. It was calculated — meant to make Canadians believe he had influence over Trump, that he could manage global relationships.

Mark Carney lied to the country.

He never deserved to be Prime Minister. He’s not what he pretends to be — and never was. Canadians who vote for him are being conned. Full stop.

The night after the first Seder, the governor of Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro was awakened in the middle of the night with a bang on the door. It was 2:00 am and the state trooper in the hallway told Shapiro there was a fire in his governor's mansion.

Shapiro got his wife, kids and dogs out quickly. The fire however did a huge amount of damage.

At first, Shapiro thought a candle had been left burning but the devastation was so great that could not have been what started the fire. He soon found out that the fire was deliberately set and the person who set it came in with a hammer with the intention of beating the governor.

Clearly Josh Shapiro is Jewish. And clearly whoever started that fire knew it. The Shapiro family celebrated the second seder in a safe home.

The attacker was found and is mentally unstable or so we are to believe.

While officials cite the attacker’s mental health, one can no longer ignore the environment that emboldened him. The growing normalization of antisemitism under the guise of activism has very real consequences.

Governor Shapiro and his family survived. But the message is chilling: when a sitting governor isn't safe in his own home during Passover, none of us can afford to pretend this hate isn’t real, rising, and dangerously close.

Remember that when you go and vote on Monday.

The protests in Canadian cities must end. It is no longer acceptable be known internationally as the country with the highest incidence of antisemitism.

It is a disgrace.

So how do they choose a new pope? It's a very complicated deal, that's for sure. One has to wonder however, if the pope is chosen for his piety or for other reasons. Keep reading.

All to say finding a new pope is quite the job and it appears has little to do with how religious or not the candidates are. And there is a good chance that he will not be white.

The gnat-brained bureaucrats at the OLF forced drivers to change “go” to “allez.” Seriously?

That’s their plan to save the French language in la belle province?

Here’s a better idea: try encouraging people to use their brains. Teach them to speak French to their kids at home, while also preparing them to function in the real world — you know, the one where the international language of business, technology and economics is English.

Our guess is that the only job requirement at the OLF is an IQ under 20. There’s really no other explanation for this level of dumb.

And we’d love to be a fly on the wall when they try to stop 20,000 fans at the Bell Centre from chanting “Go Habs Go.” Bonne chance.

She is one of the liberals insisting on giving money to unwra, something that Anthony Housefather is impotent to do anything about.

If you want this idiocy to end, both Joly and Housefather need to go.
