Mark Carney Made it to the Jerusalem Post...Quebec's Final Nail in the Coffin...Canada is Just Plain Screwed Up...

One of our esteemed readers who recently made aliyah to Israel sent us a heads-up that our prime minister made it to the Jerusalem post. His recent press conference making a mockery of antisemitism in Canada clearly did not go unnoticed Israeli officials nor frankly to the rest of the world.
The author of the article, former Montrealer Gil Troy, first described the open antisemitism rampant throughout McGill, on the streets of Montreal, at the convocation of McGill, and all the street disturbances that go unheeded by the police.
He then wrote the following:
"...Fortunately, Prime Minister Mark Carney rushed to the rescue. True, his speech denouncing antisemitism had “no mention of Israel and no acknowledgment that, for Jews, Israel is part of the Jewish people’s covenantal reality,” former Canadian justice minister Irwin Cotler noted. But no matter, Carney created a paper-tiger commission to playact at fighting antisemitism featuring at least one Jihadi apologist."
And there you have it.
We have friends, as many reading this blog do, in the US. We get asked all the time, "What's going on up there in Canada?" Or this one: "You know this is how it started in Australia and ended in a massacre at Bondi."
Yes, we know all of this.
The only thing we can and must do, is keep calling out Carney and his foolish minions who are backing the wrong horse, listening to fools who lie outright and are being the judge, jury and executioner of Israel without stepping foot there.

Remember that bank we keep writing about, the one looking for a city to call home? The Defence, Security and Resilience Bank (DSRB), a new multinational financial institution backed by NATO, is actively looking for global headquarters in Canada.
Montreal and Toronto are in the running. Alas, the government of quebec keeps shooting themselves in the foot in their quest to lure this bank to Montreal.
First, it is very clear that the right hand in the quebec government has not a clue what the left hand is doing. Secondly, the endless nitpicking of the office de la langue francais (OLF), unless reigned in, will be the final nail in the coffin for Montreal not getting this headquarters or any other headquarters for a very long time.
There is a restaurant in Montreal called Arthur's Nosh Bar. According to the OLF, nosh is a very bad word in quebec. It will be one of the words that will destroy the french language. It's one of those words that will make french canadians speak less french.
Really now.
Nosh is not an English word. It is a Yiddish word. It's like the word kvetch. Or the word chutzpah. Or the word babkus. Those Yiddish words have found their way into the vocabulary of many countries. Alas, in quebec, nosh is a very bad four-letter word.
Unless Madame Frechette, the premier of quebec, reigns in the OLF, they will continue to make her and the rest of quebec look like bunch of clowns who belong milking cows on a farm as that is the extent of their brain power.

On Tuesday we advised you that Project Montreal is about to put forth a motion attacking Israel as a genocidal apartheid state and calling on Montreal to break all ties, relations, etc. The motion is to demonstrate the solidarity of the City of Montreal with the Palestinian people and the civilian victims of the conflict in West Asia, commonly known as the Middle East.
Below are a couple of questions you can send in, along with the link to do so. Feel free to rewrite the questions to your liking:
This question is to be posed to Ms. Ericka Alneus, who we are assuming is one of those putting this motion forward:
Ms. Alneus, Montreal is experiencing an unprecedented surge in antisemitism, and many Jewish residents believe city leaders have failed to grasp the seriousness of the problem.
In that context, how do you justify advancing a motion that many Jews view as an attempt to single out and delegitimize the world's only Jewish state?
Do you acknowledge that such actions can embolden antisemitic sentiment, and what is your party's plan to protect Montreal's Jewish community from the consequences?
Or this one:
Ms. Alneus, the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement denies the Jewish people’s right to self-determination in their historic homeland. Do you share that position, one that, in effect, calls for the obliteration of Israel as the world’s only Jewish state? Your answer will be carefully watched by Montreal’s Jewish community and spread widely

To say that the democrat party has lost their way would be the understatement of the decade. They have also completely lost their moral compass, or whatever moral compass remained.
Before we get to the heart of this, we ask you to remember that for years the democrats tried to paint Donald Trump as dishonest, a narcissist, a womanizer, a racist, a con-man, a grifter and a xenophobe to cite but a few names.
Well, they have elected a man by the name of Graham Platner as the democratic senate nominee for the state of Maine. This man makes Donald Trump look like the pope.
His record, which everyone can see, includes racist and misogynistic online posts, a tattoo widely associated with Nazi symbolism, and extramarital sexting while married. If this is the new standard for public virtue, the bar isn't low, it's buried underground.
When people tell you that they are leaving Canada because of the antisemitism, we would advise them not to go to the United States as they are merely exchanging two nickels for a dime. In fact, it could even be worse there.
If you want to leave Canada, there's only one address: Israel.

The liberal government in Canada is just plain screwed up. We don't care how much people dislike Pierre Poilievre, which frankly is unfounded. At the very least, the guy has his head screwed on the right way. Those in the liberal party belong with the likes of AOC, Omar Illan, Bernie Sanders and that ilk. That people, is what we are dealing with in Canada.
Our politicians cannot tell the difference between what a good guy does and what a bad guy does. Oh, but they are able to can spot oppression (read the poor palestinians) from 10,000 miles away but somehow can't recognize terrorism when it's live streamed in high definition.
There are two cases to be made to back up these very serious accusations.
The first and most tragic is the policeman murdered in Toronto this morning by a terrorist.
A Toronto police officer was shot in the chest after executing a search warrant on an Iran-back Hezbollah Kta’ib cell in Canada.
They got one terrorist, but the second is still at large. Here's simple lesson for our elected officials: terrorists are hellbent on destruction and hatred as has been proven more times than we can count.
The second moronic thing the liberals did was to have one of their lackys present a bill designating July as Somali Heritage Month. Why you ask? Because, as the member of parliament said, Somali contributions make Canada great. We cannot make this stuff up.
We want to know who thinks up these detached from reality ideas. We also want to know if the people who ran and voted like sheep for Carney are happy with what they are getting in Ottawa.
It appears that our elected officials are so out of touch with the real world that they think banning all Israeli products from Canada is the right thing to do. Do they really think hugging and kissing somalis who are known terrorists is right?
Toronto's idiot mayor Olivia Chow seems to think so. She was welcoming Omar Artan, a Somali with ties to Islamic terrorists on Wednesday, and then on Thursday gave condolences for a policeman murdered by Islamic terrorists.
She cannot have it both ways. Carney cannot have it both ways. And we will never tire of repeating this: How does Anthony Housefather stay in that party? We are beginning to think that he is worse than the leaders. They at least have people helping them think up this garbage.
But the fact that Housefather blindly follows, as a Jew no less? No words for him.
Good Shabbos
We'll talk

Love everything you say. Housefather is an idiot!!!!!
It is not necessary to demean farmers in order to make a point.
