Seems there was a glitch with tonight's blog. If you got it twice, we apologize. If you didn't get till now, we also apologize.

We are not dumping on Poilievre but...the recent by-elections, especially the one in Chicoutimi—Le Fjord, which, as you can guess by the name, is in quebec, doesn't bode well for him or the party in general.

Let's start with the number of people who went out to vote in these three by-elections, held across Canada. Usually, about 20% of the population votes in by-elections. This time? 40%. People are engaged. People are following the news and they are making their voices heard.

Chicoutimi—Le Fjord was not a Liberal stronghold. In fact, the Conservatives had held it since 2018, and Richard Martel had won it four elections in a row. In the 2025 election, it was an extremely competitive three-way race.

Last night? The liberals had 51% of the vote, the Bloc party 32%. The conservatives? 12%. That's not a loss. That's an implosion.

The conservative party is not collapsing quite yet, but the visual for the public - Carney strongly winning all 3 by-elections, Poilievre winning 0 doesn't look very good and keeps the dialogue of is Poilievre the right person to lead the conservative party going.

Not that we want to rub it in, but we do want to point out exactly how bad this was for Poilievre. In this riding, the conservative vote went from 17,356 to 3,962. That's a loss of 13,400 votes.

And one more nail in the coffin for Poilievre.

Carney has taken the liberal party of Justin from being woke, left-wing nutballs to a much more centrist party, eating up much of the conservative vote. Coupled with the Trump factor, this is almost the death knell for the conservative party.

As a conservative voter, we are very disheartened.

Frankly, we're not sure if Poilivere left who would be a good replacement. Right now we like Lisa Raitt. She's bright, very articulate and has name factor. It's not happening yet, but one more big implosion like last night's and we might see open rumblings in the conservative party.

Given all of the above, we intensely dislike Mark Carney who does nothing to make Trump think that we are anything but woke, liberal, tree-huggers.

Yesterday he stood on parliament hill and said the following: ...Pride is a promise that every Canadian can live safely, openly, and proudly as themselves.

To the 2SLGBTQI+ community in Nepean, and across Ottawa: Happy Pride!

Seriously? 2SLGBTQI+? Come on.

In case you think we are exaggerating, think again.

If you never heard of 2S people here ya go: 2S means “Two-Spirit.” It is a term used by some Indigenous people in North America to describe a person whose identity may encompass both masculine and feminine aspects, or whose gender, sexuality, cultural role, or spiritual role does not fit conventional male/female categories.

What the F??? No matter how loud, how obnoxious, how many pride parades there are in the world, males who are born males are males and females who are born females are females. And here's another piece of news:

Everyone has both male and female traits. In some men, feminine traits may be more pronounced; in some women, masculine traits may be more pronounced. But that has nothing to do with the gender they were born. Boys have outdoor plumbing and girls have indoor plumbing.

Literally the world is upside and the leader of our country is leading this parade, pardon the pun.

As for Trump renaming Lake Ontario Lake America...it's just ridiculous. It is a fight between 2 schoolboys - Trump and Doug Ford who told Trump to kiss his a.s last week.

In retialiation, Trump went into a teenage hissy-fit. Unfortunately, he's not a teenager, he's the president of the USA and has a lot of power which includes creating an executive order renaming Lake Ontario to Lake America. Not very creative.

At long last, the CBC is being recognized for the sham that they are and have been publicly humiliated.

The republican national convention (RNC) has revoked CBC/Radio-Canada’s press credentials for its upcoming midterm convention in Dallas on September 9–10. Why?

Because CBC will not use the words terrorist attacks to describe 9/11. Instead they only say the word attacks. What we want to know is who exactly are they protecting?

The men who flew 2 planes into the world trade center and killed almost 3,000 people?

Or the terrorists who flew into the Pentagon?

Or the terrorists who whose plan was thwarted by brave men and women on flight 93 who fought with the terrorists and crashed the plane into a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

One of the reasons we so dislike Mark Carney and his ilk is that they are very strong supporters of the CBC, giving them $150 million.

Not calling the 9/11 men who murdered over 3,000 people terrorists is an insult to the USA and to the people who perished on that horrific day.

We just found out that the CBC has walked back its refusal to call the 9/11 terrorists what they were: terrorists. Don't get too excited. The CBC did not abandon its overall policy on the use of the words terrorist and terrorism. Instead, it carved out a specific exception for 9/11. And frankly, that stinks.

Because this is not a principled change of heart. It is pure and simple damage control. After the backlash, CBC found a way to make the immediate controversy go away without confronting the larger policy that created it in the first place.

We don't believe for a minute that CBC suddenly had some great journalistic awakening because they didn't.

Peeps - don't you feel like a political orphan? Poilievre just can't find his footing and Carney is a slimy woke liberal.

We'll talk...
