Shame on Canada...Nope. In Fact Your Vote Does Not Count...You Just Gave $40 million to Lebanon...

We simply cannot understand what world the countries that voted for Iran to oversee women’s rights are living in.
In our case, Mark Carney and his uber-ultra-liberal wife should, in theory, be champions of women’s rights. It appears however, that they do not know or choose not to know that Iran is about as far from women's rights as you can get. Those two represent the farce that is called the women's movement.
Iran is among the worst offenders when it comes to the treatment of women, with both enforcing systemic restrictions and discrimination through law and policy.
Do they not know women cannot leave their houses unless accompanied by a male?
Do they not know that uncovering your hair in Iran can get you killed?
Do they not know about arranged marriages with ten year old girls to 50 year old men?
Do they think women are brain-dead and won't react to this kind of vote?
If we know about all of this then so do women in all of the above countries. So exactly who's ass are they kissing that made them vote for Iran to deal with women's issues? All this does is reinforce what everyone already knows: both the united nations and women's movements are two of the biggest farces in the world. Period.
They do nothing in the UN building but cause havoc and the women's movement were silent when it was proven that rape was used a weapon on October 7. Both of those organizations need to permanently implode. Just gross.

As it turns out, we know Marilyn Gladu, the latest conservative to cross the floor to sit with the liberals. A mutual friend ran her campaign which very successfully got her elected in the last election. Gladu won 53% of the votes in her riding. As a conservative.
There is nothing middle of the road about Marilyn Gladu. It is impossible that in two weeks she went from a right of right conservative to a liberal. Not one of her core values align with Carney.
Gladu believes the government is usually the problem so let people and businesses do their thing. Carney, as a liberal, believes that government is a tool. Use it to steer the economy and society. Ergo our massive and very useless bloated bureaucracy.
Gladu believes, as most conservatives, that taxes should be cut, spending should be less and the government should get out of the way. Carney? Spend, spend, spend, tax 'strategically' and micromanage the system.
The biggest difference, which no one can change on a dime is this: She is pro-life and he is pro-choice.
Given all of the above, Gladu said she would vote with the liberals. So what does that say about her? She's a sneaky opportunist
In the end, Gladu will come out the big loser in this. She will be totally ostracized by her conservative friends and none of her new liberal 'friends' will believe that she has changed the essence of her beliefs.
The only question to answer is what did she get for crossing the floor. And the answer is always the same: follow the money.
As for voting in elections? Clearly our votes mean nothing.
We have been reading some of the comments of people in her riding. One was particularly graphic saying that she simply spit in their faces and did what she wanted. Which in fact, is exactly what happened.

Mark Carney now has a majority. No matter how the media tries to protect him or spin it, everybody knows the truth. The only way he achieved this was by luring people from other parties, mostly the conservatives, into his tent.
Those individuals, especially Marilyn Gladu, do not align at all with the liberal party of Canada. Her core beliefs in particular are fundamentally conservative, the complete opposite of Carney, which raises the obvious question: what exactly did she gain in making this move?
Now ask what the first thing Carney did today?
He gave $37 million to Lebanon. This money dump was announced in March and took place today.
Blanche, doesn't this eerily remind you of Obama and Biden sending hundreds of millions of dollars to Iran also for 'humanitarian aid'? Monies were also dumped into gaza and we all know what they did with that money. The people never saw piece of rice or a pita. It was used exclusively to build tunnels.
Iran used the money to build a nuclear bomb. And Lebanon will probably have to hand it over the hezbolla so they can rearm and continue to fire missiles at Israel.
As for Israel, Carney has no time to visit although he has traveled at least 20 times in the past year. Israel is not on his radar because deep down he thinks Israel is a nasty country, purposely bombing hospitals in gaza and schools in iran. A bully country. He would be very happy if Israel quietly disappeared into the ocean.
This is our prime minister and now we're stuck with him at least until Trump leaves.
On another note, Pierre Poilievre better get his act together very, very soon. Something is wrong if four people in his caucus can be lured into the Carney orb. If he can't control his people then he's not the right man to lead. If there are more defections we are of the opinion that he should be replaced.

We had occasion to call the city of Montreal.
Before the actual call starts one has to confirm them that they are eligable to be spoken to in English. One of the criteria is if one is indigenious. What the heck that does have to do with speaking English?
At the end, one is told that being spoken to in English is on the honor system.
Seriously? How about pressing 1 for French and 2 for English? Oh wait. That's way to simple. Better to be a woke-tree-hugger-save-the-whales and put out that idiotic message.
