The Good Die Young... 24 years since 9/11... Gutted...He's Back...

ree

We often start writing this blog a day or two before sending it out. Such was the case yesterday morning. All that changed with the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

More than anything, we cannot stop thinking about his wife and very young children - a year old son who will never know his father and a 3 year old daughter who will have very vague memories of him. Truly, everything else is commentary.

It's no longer a secret that so far in the attempted and successful assassinations in the US recently, the great majority of those targeted sit on the conservative side of life.

They support Israel, as did Charlie Kirk - openly and unabashedly. They are spiritual people. They believe in marriage, having children, bringing them up to be decent citizens. And for this they are murdered?

It boggles the mind.

The news of Kirk's death was pretty well immediate. Instanteous. And yet for many, many hours we were met with silence from Mark Carney, our 'leader'.

Is he so dispassionate? Is he that busy that he didn't notice a 31 year old man was assassinated in front of a few thousand people? So emotionally bankrupt that he couldn't find five minutes to either write something himself or ask someone to write a statement?

Pathetically, our leadership is devoid of integrity and direction and it shows in everything he and his inner circle do. Here is what someone very correctly wrote as an example:

Hamas killed eight Canadians on October 7th. Israel then hunted down and killed those responsible. In response, Canada is now "evaluating" its relationship with Israel. Nothing makes sense anymore.

All we can say about the Jews who remain in Mark Carney’s party — every single one o them — is that they stand on the wrong side of history. They are being led by a man with no moral compass, driven not by right or wrong, but by his own self-serving agenda.

Time is the ultimate judge and it will lay bare the shortsightedness of those who traded ambition over their essence.

As much as we and everyone we know is sad today, those who knew Kirk and frankly, every conservative in the US is gutted by his assassination. He was the anchor between the older and younger generations.

He was the voice of reason, of common sense, unafraid to talk to anyone who disagreed with him. He changed lives for the better. He moved mountains. He was instrumental in getting Trump elected.

We went on his website Turning Point Action. He sold tons of merch including this Tshirt: Your professor is lying.

Indeed they are lying and have produced a generation of snowflakes who believe that it's ok for a teen to believe, really believe, that he can become a she and all will be fine with his life.

No it won't be fine as we are hearing and seeing. It's the tip of the iceberg, but many trans kids are regretting decisions they made a few short years ago. They now see that they may have been going through an identity crisis, but were pushed by both home and school to 'be who you really are'.

A teen doesn't know who they really are until about 20-23. Both boys and girls can be very confused, but the majority of trans kids are boys becoming girls. And when they realize they made a grave error, they become angry. Very angry. And then...

We're not saying this man was that, but the police have found trans and other writings on the bullets. You decide.

Today is the 24th anniversary of 9/11. Take a good look at this picture and remind yourself how horrific that day was.

Close to 3,000 people were killed in less than a 2 hour period.

It took us weeks to come to ourselves. In the US it took way longer than that. In fact, they never recovered as when we go to any airport, all the take off your shoes, take out your laptop, take off your belt, remove your change orders stem directly from 9/11.

And 9/11 stemmed from radical muslims. They were hateful and murderous in 2001 and they are hateful and murderous today.

It's not hard to draw a straight line between 2001 and today. It's right in your face.

So can someone please explain why the world is screaming death to the Jews while it is the muslims who are causing all the death and destruction?

And this is not a rhetorical question.

It is a real, valid, honest question which someone should be asking our prime minister and all those around him. Even if they are not in cabinet. Even if they are lowly backbenchers. And especially if they are Jews.

And a final lighter post on this very heavy day...

In case you were wondering what Justin Trudeau is up to, wonder no more. He's doing exactly what we thought he would do - go on a speaking tour. Truthfully, aside from being a drama teacher, what else could he possibly do?

It appears though that people are more interested in taking a selfie with him than what he has to say or even more crucial - how he says it.

Remember that breathless, um, um, um, um way of speaking during covid? Did you not want to throw something at your computer to wake him up? Or that he kept people waiting in the freezing cold because he never, ever was on time for any press conference?

We are guessing nobody misses all of that, although we now have Carney who, when he gives a press conference sounds like he's reading the manual for your washing machine. But we digress.

Now for the answer (never mind the question, we know what you're thinking). He's charging a minimum of $100,000 per speaking engagement. We read that people think he has what to say.

Our guess is that people will very quickly find out he has nothing to say and his best asset is his hair and the fact that he's photogenic. In the meantime, he'll collect his money but we'll be watching to see where else he surfaces.

Good Shabbos

We'll talk...
