The Real Problem with Mamdani's Win...Chows Selective Outrage...

We could not put our finger on what was really bothering us about Mamdani's win as mayor of NYC. We know he can't put into action all the ridiculous things he promised his adoring fans. Please, free buses? Who is paying for that?
Nope. That's not it. Here's part of what is: Mamdani ran using openly antisemitic slurs, said he would cut out and then axe Israeli products, companies or anything else Israeli anywhere he could. That's not even the big problem.
The big problem is non-Jews voted for him because all of the above, which is open antisemitism. And that is scary.
He supports BDS. He supports gaza. He believes Israel is the genocidal aggressor. He won't even mention October 7. And that is what people voted for. Pathetically, including many Jews who believe him.
We know those Jews are misinformed and lack any knowledge of the history of Israel or the Jewish people. Which is why they were unable to see the forest for the trees. They believe Mamdani.
To the Jews who voted for Mamdani...he knows you are Jewish. As hamas knew where the Jews were on October 7. Even the Jews who helped them. Even the Jews who took them to doctors in Israel.
The big headline is you may have voted for Mamdani, but he doesn't care. If you are a Jew, you will be painted with the same brush as those who did not vote for him.
He will go after you like any other Jew. Mamdani is an anti-Israeli extremist. An anti-Jew extremist. He hates the Jews who voted for him equally as the Jews who did not.
Maybe pass this on to someone who thinks as German Jews did, that if they were more german than the germans, they would be spared. No Jew was spared. Chilling.

We are wondering how long it will take - if ever - for our prime minister to put his foot down with Olivia Chow. She is nothing short of a mental case.
Her latest fiasco: She is planning to raise the palestinian flag in front of Toronto's city hall tomorrow. Not quietly, but with great fanfare.
She will be doing this with organizations who support hamas and want Israel destroyed. With organizations who cheered October 7.
Quebec has more than its fair share of problems. But don't think for half a second that Ontario is a better place to live, especially if you live in Toronto.
We cannot believe she is being allowed to do this. Where is Mark Carney? Where is Anthony Housefather who stayed in the liberal party to stop things like this. We'll tell you. He is shaking under his desk.
And tomorrow, when Chow goes ahead with this digusting move, he will issue a tweet. "This is not who we are."
Mr. Housefather, right now, this IS who we are. Where are you?

Blanche, did you know that Paramount has reportedly created a blacklist of actors and actresses, determined to be "overly antisemitic," "xenophobic," or "homophobic."
Bravo!
And, get this: they are blacklisting and not hiring any 'actors or actresses' who crossed the line spouting open antisemitism.
They took a stand in a world where such a thing is hardly ever seen. People are afraid of the blowback on social media.
Paramount also owns CBS who just hired Bari Weiss as their News Chief. Since then, she has had to up her protection due to death threats. It appears Paramount is paying $10,000-$15,000 per day for bodyguards.
Kudos to Paramount and Weiss. They chose the right side of history and history will remember their courage.

Francois Legault and his health minister Dube bit off way more than they can chew by going after doctors for absolutely no reason other than to deflect their incompetennce in running quebec.
In a first-of-its-kind show of defiance, doctors from Quebec’s four main medical federations rallied today at the Bell Centre to protest Bill 2, the government’s heavy-handed attempt to dictate doctors’ pay, hours, and working conditions.
Specialists, family physicians, residents, and medical students packed the arena to denounce a law they say punishes those who speak up, slapping fines on anyone who dares to use pressure tactics.
Legault better find an exit ramp very soon or we may find ourselves with no doctors, no nurses, no specialists and no medical students as they will all go on strike.
Oh wait. The buses are on strike and all we hear from any level of government is crickets.
Let's see what happens when doctors don't show up to work at the ER. Or surgeons start cancelling surgeries en masse. This is going to get very ugly if the government doesn't suck it up and admit they made a huge mistake.
Of all the dumb moves Legault has made, and there are many, this one is the biggest.
We'll talk...
