***Facebook did not allow us to post this blog as we wrote about the rot in the CBC and they consider that going after the government. It's on LinkedIn and X.***

Both Canadian and Israeli Jews are very familiar with the CBC's stance on Israel and Canadian Jews. It is openly antisemitic on both counts.
In case you don't know, the Canadian Broadcasting Company is Canada's national public broadcaster. In other words, what goes on the air carries some weight.
They are known to be woke, liberal, tree-huggers. Then came October 7 and their true essence began to shine. Honest Reporting has followed them closely since October 7 for media for bias and inaccuracies in reporting about Israel. CBC failed miserably.
At long last, a public, detailed, honest and brutal article about the CBC was complied by someone not Jewish by the name of Dan Donovan. He is the founder and managing editor of Ottawa Life Magazine (OttawaLife.com), one of Canada’s longest‑running independent publications. It was there that he posted this long-overdue article. It's long, very long, but very detailed and well worth the read.
As for the CBC, here are a few tidbits of Donovan's article which will clearly show you what we are dealing with:
...On October 7 itself, George Achi, then CBC News’s Director of Journalistic Standards and Public Trust, sent an email to CBC journalists instructing them not to refer to the Hamas attackers as “terrorists.” Instead they called them 'militants' or 'fighters'. In fact, they were and are animals. But we digress...
...Brodie Fenlon, CBC News’s editor-in-chief at the time, subsequently defended CBC’s policy and why the organization would not itself apply the term “terrorist” to Hamas.
Remember when a hospital blew up in Gaza? Here's what CBC reported immediately:
...Hundreds had been killed in the October 17, 2023 explosion at Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza, with its headline describing it as an Israeli airstrike while attributing the claim to the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza.
In fact, that hospital was used as a launching pad for hamas. Much later the CBC retracted their wrong information, but the damage was done.
We will not bore you with more quotes from this very detailed article. We will say, unequivocally, that within the CBC there is systemic antisemitism, beginning at the very top.
As far as we are concerned, they lost our trust completely on October 7. Their mandate is to report the news and instead they are promoting their agenda, which does not favor, to put it mildly, Israel or Jews.
Not one cent of our money should be going in there until all the rot is cleaned out. From the top down.

We didn't start with the tariff situation as it is not yet resolved. Our prime minister, Mark Carney is doing what he does best: thinking that he is the smartest person in the room, that he knows what's best for everyone ergo the rest of us have to blindly trust him.
The deal was not signed Wednesday night because he has to present it to the premiers of Canada.
Can we talk?
Exactly which premier is going to nix this deal? We'll tell you. Not one of them. Who wants to be responsible for getting into yet another fight with Trump?
Carney played his cards perfectly. He said nothing until the deal was done, putting all the premiers into a corner. Take the deal or be the one to take everyone down with you.
Yesterday Trump said that there are no more dairy tariffs. Really now? So what happens to the supply management system where farmers are protected by the 295% tariffs on dairy products coming into Canada from the US?
Here's our guess: The supply management system will stay, the US will be allowed to send in some dairy products and...we, the taxpayers, will wind up giving the farmers money to cover whatever they don't sell.
Again we ask this question: Where was the government when the textile industry was being decimated by China? Protecting the industry in Canada? Charging 295% tariffs on fabric coming into Canada from China? No to all of the above.
We will tell you that if Carney did not appease Trump, huge companies, employing hundreds of people are going to quietly leave and set up shop right across the border. They won't make a fuss, they won't call on the government to help them. They will simply leave, creating massive unemployment.
Carney was elected as the saviour of Canada. Along with that came a hefty dose of arrogance and an unmistakable sense of his own importance. We certainly hope that somewhere amid all that self-regard, he has managed to accomplish at least some of what Canadians elected him to do.

This one smells so badly, that it's crossing the Atlantic Ocean. Prince Harry and Meghan are moving back to England. Seriously. Madam Meghan doesn't do anything that doesn't serve her purpose. So why are they leaving California?
During their infamous interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021 they said they left England because of "Lack of support, lack of security, potential racism through unconscious bias." And he wasn't referring to the public. He was referring to his immediate family.
Then of course Harry wrote The Spare, where he spilled the beans, revealing untold secrets, causing serious embarassment to the entire royal family.
Since they left, things have gotten much worse between Harry and William and are still pretty icy cold between Harry and his father, the King. Harry claims he wants to be near his father as he is battling an incurable cancer.
So why are they really moving back to England? Always, always follow the money.
Part of the reason is that it appears Harry's many failed lawsuits cost him millions of dollars in legal bills. Add to that he spends $5 million on security. Add to that his lovely wife has tried numerous Netflix and other series, all of which failed miserably.
But the biggest reason, which to us sounds the most plausable, is that Harry wants to mend fences before his brother becomes King. As things stand right now, if William became king next week, Harry would get the royal boot. Harry is rightly afraid he will be cut off at the knees like his uncle Andrew.
Like we said at the beginning of this piece. Follow the money honey.

Back to the tariffs. Today Mark Carney asked all the premiers to put American liquor back into the stores. Most premiers are complying. Except one.
Most likely, you have never heard of Manitoba's premier Wab Kinew. After hearing Carney's ask that American liquor go back on the shelves he threw Carney under the bus.
"Don't buy it. Let it sit on the shelf… and buy the Canadian stuff instead." You can imagine how well that went over with Carney. And no doubt, Trump has seen this short clip as it has been replayed umpteen times.
But wait. Wab didn't stop there: He urged Canadians to boycott American alcohol, stating that Canada should continue to "fight" rather than settle for a weak trade deal.
He said this while Carney is trying to get all the premiers on board and while the negotiators are back in Washington trying to finish this idiocy.
The whole don't buy US liquor business has, in fact, put companies in Kentucky out of business as we are not buying American bourbon and royally ticking off Trump. We're not sure what Mr. Kinew thinks he is going to gain by trying to kill the talks.
One thing we can assure him: he best not be asking Ottawa for anything in the, oh, say ten years.
Good Shabbos
We'll talk...

CBC is the mouthpiece of PM Carney. They reflect what he believes. Israel is a strong nation state which goes against the beliefs of the WEF.
