Before we launch into an analysis of the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, let’s deal with an overlooked issue: this was a serious disaster for women. While the men were running for the exits ostensibly for their lives, the women didn’t stand a chance.
Six-inch heels on polished floors mean you’re not walking. You are negotiating with gravity. Running for your life, or any form of running is off the table. At best the women were left calculating every step as one wrong move meant face-planting before they got near the door.
Perhaps future security briefings could include a radical new protocol: ditch the stilettos. Or, as some of us have already figured out, skip the heels altogether. Aging, as it turns out, has its perks and gives one a much clearer vision of life. Now to the story.

There is not a shred of doubt that G-d wants Donald Trump to remain President of the United States of America until his term is over. He has dodged three attempts on his life, the most recent Saturday night at the Correspondence Dinner attended by close to 3,000 people.
While the secret service seem to be doing a good job, his advance teams seem to be dropping the ball. They just don't get it.
The man who carried out the attack exposed a simple but serious failure in the system. He registered as a guest in the hotel on Friday and was able to get his many firearms and knives in and ready completely undetected. This reservation had to be gotten well in advance as the hotel was fully booked thanks to the dinner.
As he was already in the hotel during the banquet, he went down about 10 flights through an interior stairwell to avoid public areas before emerging near the ballroom entrance. Everyone is very lucky (and they know it) that he didn't have an explosive device, ready to kill himself along with many others.
The flaw in the advance team was that the 1100 rooms were not vetted or checked. Which of course means having any events like that in hotels anywhere in the world has bitten the dust.
As for the alleged shooter, everyone keeps saying he's a very bright man. We beg to differ. He may be book smart, but when it comes to common sense he is a total failure. There was absolutely no way he was going to get near the ballroom without being taken down, which is exactly what happened.
These attackers are duped by other losers on the internet. People keep saying he's going to be a hero to the left of left. Really now.
While to some with the brains of a gnat that may be true, this idiot's life is over. Finished. If he sees the inside of a hotel in 30 years he should consider himself lucky.

Mark Carney is a spin master par excellence. Mercifully, we are not getting caught in his web that has duped his many adoring fans.
Today he is officially launching his 'Canada Strong Fund' also known as a sovereign wealth fund. This sovereign wealth fund is technically correct but economically misleading.
Let's start with we are not a financial genius. However, we are able discern when something doesn't pass the smell test and this one stinks. As such, we broke this down so that even we could understand it.
A true sovereign wealth fund (Norway has a very famous one) comes from surplus money (usually oil or trade surpluses). It is meant to store national wealth for future generations.
The key word here is surplus because...Canada is not running any surplus right now. Therefore the $25B they put into this 'new' Canada Strong Fund is not extra savings. It likely comes from reallocated spending, borrowing, or asset sales.
In other words we are borrowing from Peter to pay Paul.
Here is he essence as your eyes must be rolling by now: This is not storing wealth we already have as Carney wants you to believe. It is in fact, trying to create wealth we don’t yet have.
To further break this down: A real wealth fund means you got a huge bonus and you invest it for retirement. This fund means you take out money, in this case that we don't have and pretend to invest it hoping it grows.
Carney is pretending this is 'found' money. It's nothing of the sort which means he is, like a used car salesman. A slick, sly one.

Then there's Jimmy Kimmel. What a moron.
What he said about Melania Trump was nothing short of disgusting telling her she has the glow of an expectant widow. Seriously? That is supposed to be funny?
We are more than happy, in fact ecstatic that Melania went after Kimmel saying that he is deepens the political sickness. She is correct and we wholeheartedly concur especially when we think of the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
The rhetoric coming out of the liberal side of America went way over the top long ago and people like Kimmel can not longer recognize what they are saying, nor do they have any sense of right and wrong.
“Expectant widow” suggests a wife who is about to lose her husband. That’s what makes it different from a normal jab. It doesn’t just mock, it points toward an outcome (death), even if meant as a joke. And that is not funny. At all.
Donald Trump has been the target of assassins three times that we know of. No matter what kind of relationship the Trump's have, Melania dodged the widow bullet three times. That joke was not funny.

No, Anthony Housefather has not disappeared. He is pandering, groveling to anyone other than his own Jewish community where he has lost all credibility.
His little mafia began to unravel when his beloved friend Mitchell Brownstein lost his bid for mayor of Cote St. Luc. And we are taking a very educated guess that he's staying far away from Carney who is no lover of Israel and has little time for Jewish issues to put it mildly. That Carney basically did a world tour in the past year and did not visit Israel is absolutely disgusting.
If anyone should cross the floor or sit as an independent, it should be Anthony. Alas, he's a milquetoast and will do nothing of the sort. Instead he will hide in other communities , as depicted in this picture, an embarrassment to his own Jewish community.

We watched King Charles III speak in Washington today where he delivered a formal address to a joint session of the U.S. Congress. We were most pleasantly surprised.
For starters, when anyone with a British accent speaks they already sound smart even if they are not. What we found endearing about the King was how self-effacing he is. Truly humble. Very different from his mother.
Queen Elizabeth was regal and much stiffer than her son. We are guessing that as Charles had to wait most of his life to get to the throne, he developed this much friendlier and much less stuffy attitude.
His entire speech was measured, diplomatic, and unifying, with zero drama. He aimed at reinforcing continuity and mutual respect rather than making headlines and was very dignified, very respectful and most likely helped relations between Great Britain and America. He also has a great sense of humor and does not take himself very seriously. Of that, we were surprised.
Tomorrow he and the Queen are going to New York to visit the 9/11 museum. He touched upon it as this year is the 25th anniversary of a day that is seared in the minds of anyone who lived through those horrific few hours, which stretched into days, weeks then months.
Our only regret, of which nothing can be done, is that it was not Princess Diana by his side. She was, as Melania is, a class act. Alas, G-d had other plans for her.
We wish King Charles and long and healthy life.
We'll talk...
