Clearly everyone deserves a vacation. Also clearly some have the means to have, shall we say, more extravagant vacations than the plebs. We speak of our prime minister Mr. Carney vacationing in the drop-dead gorgeous part of Italy known as Tuscany.

For sure he wasn't going to trek anywhere in Canada. That is beneath him. And what would it look like if he went anywhere in the U.S.? Shreklach. So, in the midst of heavy negotiations with the U.S. over the looming tariff deadline, our prime minister decided to buzz off.

Make no mistake. He has some extremely wealthy friends in Tuscany from his days at the Bank of England and from all his buddies at the World Economic Forum. He's now exactly where he thinks he belongs, with the global money crowd, far removed from the Canadian plebs he governs.

The optics are almost too perfect. Canadians are being told to brace themselves for the fallout of a trade war, businesses are wondering what the next round of tariffs will mean for them, and Carney is presumably surrounded by vineyards, villas and people whose biggest inflation concern is whether Gucci has gone up another fifty euros for a belt.

Of course, prime ministers are entitled to vacations. That's not the point. The point is timing and optics. When you're in the middle of enormously consequential negotiations with your country's largest trading partner, perhaps this isn't the moment to disappear into the Tuscan hills.

Then again, maybe Tuscany is precisely the point.

Carney has spent much of his adult life moving in a world of central bankers, financiers, Davos regulars and people for whom Tuscany isn't a once-in-a-lifetime trip, it's where somebody they know has a villa.

He isn't vacationing above his station. He is vacationing exactly where he believes his station to be.

The WNBA, the Women's division of the national basketball association needs to be put in a room with a few biology books. They had a meeting recently and could not answer this question: what is a woman.

As such, they came to no conclusion on transgender athletes competing in the league. In plain English they cannot figure out that someone born a man who now says he wants to be or has decided he is now a woman, can still play basketball with women who were born that way.

Have these people totally lost their minds, never mind their moral compass which was off course ages ago. Women born as such can play against other women. Men born as such can play against other men.

On a basic physical level it is an unfair playing field. What is there to discuss?

What is happening in New York, aside from their arab mayor Mamdani is pretty nasty.

Of late, an article appeared in the New York Magazine, written by a woman by the name of Zaina Arafat. Clearly a serious muslim.

Aside from not being accurate, she portrays Israeli's and Jews as murderers, genocidal maniacs. She presents the aftermath of October 7 primarily as the catalyst for the arab community's political and cultural awakening rather than focusing on the Hamas massacre itself.

She has made hamas the good guys and what they did on October 7 a good thing. Feh.

Good luck to those living in New York. The saying when it stinks, it stinks from the top down is perfect here. Jews have become the villan. They are responsible for October 7. They are responsible for the 'poor palestinians' living in squalor.

There's nothing more to say here except if you are Jewish and live in New York, watch your back - literally and figuratively. New York magazine is painting a lie that radical muslims such as mamdani and the author of this article are normal. They are not normal.

They are one step away from being animals. Just check out how they treat their woman and all your questions will be answered. Conveniently, the author of this article did nothing of the sort. And why is that?
