Who Is Whispering in Carney's Ear? Two Sides to Every Story...Now Canada is Besties With India...

Clearly somebody whispered something into Mark Carney's ear - like if he doesn't support the US in Iran he may be shut out of the US, Canada, Mexico aka Cusma talks. Especially after saying that he has to 'manage' Trump. No s. Sherlock.

After giving everyone a stiff neck for yo-yoing back and forth whether he supports the Iranian war or not, it appears Carney has seen the veritable writing on the wall.

Yesterday he was not taking any questions on the war nor whether he was supporting Trump's ask if countries of NATO would help the US keep the Strait of Hormuz open. Crickets.

Today, in what can only be termed a late arrival to reality, our erstwhile foreign minister Anita Anand said, in her v.e.r.y s.l.o.w. w.a.y o.f. s.p.e.a.k.i.n.g, Canada is ready to “contribute appropriate efforts” to resume safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz. This was part of a multi-country joint statement released Thursday, co-signed by Canada, the U.K., France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Japan.

The countries went on to 'demand' that Iran halt its “threats, laying of mines, drone and missile attacks and other attempts to block the strait to commercial shipping.”

Can we talk? Those countries 'demanded' Iran halt blocking the strait? Like who exactly is listening in Iran? But even more ridiculous is that Canada is ready to contribute 'appropriate efforts'. What are we sending? A rowboat? A kayak? Two canoes? Oh wait. We're sending our best wishes.

Mr. Carney and his cohorts seem to live in their own little world, oblivious to what is really going on around them. Blanche, wouldn't you like to live like that and be able to use OPM - other people's money like it's growing on trees? And don't you wish, for one time at least, they would just say the truth.

A few weeks ago, a woman posted a photo on Instagram with a caption containing profanity and a message directed at Mark Carney. As such, the Toronto police came to her house and seemingly confronted her.

If you just look at the video of the police at her front door, which went viral, you would correctly come to the conclusion that Toronto has become a police state run by a dictatorship. However, if you did a deeper dive into this post a new light emerges.

Aside from swearing at Carney in capital letters which is like screaming at someone, she posted "I’m coming for you, you suck twisted f***. You will get yours!," It was that line that brought the police to her house.

We’re no fans of Carney, not even close. But this woman is either completely unhinged or chronically online. And people like this go after anyone who doesn’t fall in line with their thinking.

When the police showed up at her house this is what she yelled at them: "He’s a Zionist scumbag, and he’s not my prime minister." She was upset over Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu being allowed to fly through Canadian air space on his way to Washington.

No shortage of nutballs out there.

Canada’s news media seems determined to undermine Poilievre. Especially Montreal’s English-language radio station, who, in a very sneaky and deceptive way, portray him with open contempt, as unable to really be the prime minister.

No matter what he says, where he goes, or who he meets, they twist it, minimize or sneer at him, always pushing the same message: not to report on him fairly, but to make sure the public sees him as insignificant and unworthy of support.

Case in point is his interview with the most listened to podcast in the US - Joe Rogan. Poilievre did not bad mouth Trump nor did he over inflate Canada.

"I wanted to maximize Canadian leverage going in, and one of the biggest leverage points we have for steel, aluminum and lumber workers is the goodwill of the American people, so I used the podcast to argue in favour of removing those tariffs. Not just because it’s great for Canadian workers, but also because it will make life more affordable for American consumers. We had a great conversation, Joe’s a great guy, and my mission was very simple: fight for Canada.”

And what exactly is wrong with all of the above?

Like it or not, Canada has become a liberal, woke, save-the-turtles country. How do we know this? Carney has been traveling the world wanting Canadians to see him as a very special world leader. He's not. He's part of the global economic world forum looking for, as he said it straight out, a new world order,

Get a grip peeps. Carney has a massive over-inflated ego and he should start concentrating on what's going on in the country he leads.

As for Poilievre, Trump was the one who pushed people to vote for Carney. They voted for someone who has gone on 17 trips in one year, running around the world supposedly helping us.

Meanwhile, back home, grocery prices are insane, housing is a huge issue, hospitals in all provinces need massive upgrades. You know, the real life stuff. That is what Poilievre has been harping on and continues to do so.

Eventually people will wake up. We just hope it's before Carney gets a majority and we're stuck with him and his ego for another four years.

For the past few years, Canada has had a very bad relationship with India. Of course this was after Justin's Mr. Dressup trip to India. But we digress. The reasons for distrust were pretty clear.

...Canada stated there were credible allegations linking Indian government agents to the killing of a Canadian citizen in British Columbia.

...Canadian officials have raised concerns about India attempting to influence diaspora communities and politics within Canada, like election interference.

...India temporarily suspended visa services for Canadians in 2023, signaling deep mistrust and retaliation.

...Security cooperation has been strained, especially after Canada publicly raised concerns about Indian state-linked actions.

In a total about face, Carney is ignoring all of the above and as per his inner circle's advice, is being pragmatic.

Canada now needs India for trade, supply chains, and as a counterweight to China, while pressure from allies and the cost of a frozen relationship make re-engagement necessary. In short, it’s not about confidence it’s about not being left out.

Do not trust Mark Carney. He will use anyone to make himself look like a statesman, ignoring the reality on the ground. Let them eat cake.

Good Shabbos

We'll talk...
