We thought we would start off with some good news for a change. News that will help you sleep better at night.
Chrystia Freeland is no longer unemployed. And, as per the picture above, she is still wearing a red dress and still looks like one of santa's elves. Meow. Meow.
Here's the scoop directly from her new employers. There is no doubt she wrote this blurb...
Canadian politician, acclaimed journalist, and award-winning author Chrystia Freeland has been appointed as the next Warden of Rhodes House and CEO of the Rhodes Trust.
Notice that there are no adjectives before the words Canadian politician. Also can't help but remark that the word 'warden' is fitting for her. Just saying. Sleep well.

No doubt many have read that an item was added to the agenda at Hampstead's last council meeting and a resolution passed to hire Stein Monast (a law firm) to represent Mayor Jeremy Levi in a disciplinary hearing before the Order of Chartered Accountants.
You will not be surprised to know that his detractors are shouting from the rooftops that this is shocking and scandalous. So here is the reality on the ground:
For starters, the complaint happened while Mayor Levi was fulfilling the official duties of the office of Mayor. These allegations do not relate to his professional practice as a CPA.
As such, keep reading:
Under the Quebec Cities and Towns Act” “A municipality shall assume the defence or the representation, as the case may be, of a person who is the defendant, respondent or accused, or the person impleaded in judicial proceedings brought before a court by reason of the person’s alleged act or omission in the performance of his duties as a member of the council or as an officer or employee of the municipality or a mandatary body of the municipality.
Furthermore, Jeremy can pay these expenses out of pocket and be reimbursed by Hampstead or Hampstead can pay the expense outright.
Now you want to know what was said and why he is being brought before the Order of Chartered Accountants. You can't because Jeremy cannot comment on the actual contents of the proceedings. It would be prejudicial to the case.
So before everybody gets their shorts tied up in a knot and starts pointing fingers at Jeremy, take a breath and wait to hear the rest of the story.

If you think Trump is ticked off at Canada for feeding off the US for years, this is not going to help.
Canada border services says that because of a staffing shortage, illegals are allowed to enter Canada without being screened. Are you kidding?
Have we not been hearing ad infinitum that we are overrun by bureaucrats? Canada can't go into their pool of hundreds of thousands of those people and pluck a few out to be trained as border guards? Seriously?
To extrapolate further, once they get into Canada, they 'somehow' find their way into the US which is what ticked off Trump from the beginning. Canada can't get a grip on immigration.
Now what's Carney going to do?

By not getting a handle on the mobs in Toronto who want to kill every Jew on the planet and push Israel into the ocean, their city is slowly but surely getting hijacked by people who have nothing else to do with their lives aside from getting paid to stage these 'protests'.
Weakness is the sign those backing these protests look for - probably Iranians - and they are getting it in spades.
The latest? As families tried to shop for the holidays with their children, a Toronto-area mall was taken over by the same chant you often hear from tеrrorists before they murdеr Christians and Jews.
Like we said, first they come for the Jews, then they come for everybody else. It's already starting because in case you haven't noticed, Jews don't shop for christmas.
If Toronto stays on this path, life as they know it will disappear in a couple of years. Merry Caliphate.
And in New York hamas supporters blocked the entrance to the Park East Synagogue event promoting Jews moving to Israel. And the NYPD gave a permit to these hamas supporters with the full support of Mamdani.

Trump is calling the democrats bluff. He has issued a go to release the Epstein files.
All along the democrats tried to get these files released and their tries were blocked. They thought for sure Trump was behind blocking the release because he was heavily implicated with Epstein.
Alas, the dems were wrong and the White House is going on the offensive. While the files did mention Trump a few times, there were some heavy hitter democrats who were really incriminated by hanging out with Epstein.
Among the dems who are now running around like scared rabbits: Plaskett, former President Bill Clinton, ex-Harvard president Larry Summers, journalist Katie Couric, billionaire Democrat megadonor and LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman, and writer Michael Wolff, all of whom decryed any affiliation with Epstein.
You will certainly not be surprised to know that Bill Clinton’s 26 flights on Epstein’s “Lolita Express” are certainly up for scrutiny, as is the fact that one of Epstein’s victims says she saw Clinton on Epstein’s Little St. James island with two young women.
If nothing else comes from this we hope this does: Monica Lewinsky may finally see some justice done to that creep Clinton.
We'll talk...
