THOSE WHINING, COMPLAINING SANCTUARY CITIES ARE THE EPITOME OF NIMBY - NOT IN MY BACKYARD.

Let's start with the whining and complaining 'sanctuary cities'. The reality is if a city has deemed itself to be a sanctuary for the homeless, the poor, the downtrodden, the hundreds of thousands of immigrants streaming into the US daily - then that's what you are. What a revelation.

Alas, we are now hearing now that the sanctuary cities - basically the cities on both coasts of the US New York on the east coast and San Francisco on the west coat to give you to examples - are not happy. Wah, wah, wah. Why? Because we didn't really mean that people should come to our cities. Really?

The highly democratic, liberal, woke bs loving city of New York that is now moaning and crying that there are too many illegal immigrants. and homeless people. That they don't have enough housing, schools, doctors etc for all of these people. That they smell, that their city is dirty.

Can we talk?

Those cities are a perfect example of NIMBY - not in my backyard. And what does that mean?

Very simple. All of those cities - and that includes their democratic, liberal woke president - are masters at making people think that they care about the poor, downtrodden homeless and immigrants. Here's the headline: They care as long as those homeless immigrants don't get anywhere near their four cubits.

Ah - when they start to see and smell the immigrants and homeless - that's when they start whining and complaining that there's not enough houses, money, schools etc for everyone. There's just too many people coming. That the federal government isn't helping them.

Really? What exactly did they think would happen when they all declared themselves not only sanctuary cities, but at the same time defunded their police forces. We'll tell you. A perfect storm.

Liberal woke democrats are full of it. Up to their eyeballs. They don't care about the homeless and immigrants. They want you to think they do - and they do - from a very, very long distance. But once those 'people' get up close and personal it's a totally different ballgame.

So now all of these cities have a huge problem on their hands with no one to blame but themselves and their 'leader' Biden who doesn't know if he's on the beach or in the White House and is pretending that illegal immigrants are not streaming into his country with no end in sight.

In our last post, we were lamenting about the ridiculous, daily traffic jams when trying to get to Montreal's airport.

While we don't use a crystal ball, we definitely smell things out.

This little ditty was in today's paper: About 5.3 million travellers passed through Montreal-Trudeau International Airport in the second quarter of 2023, an increase of 32.9 per cent compared to the same period last year.

Last we looked, people who fly into airports (with the exception of those using connecting flights), don't stay at the airport. An airport is a building used for one thing: to get into and out of as quickly as possible.

That small detail has clearly eluded those who renovated, revamped and upgraded Montreal's airport. What they were thinking is anyone's guess. We know what they didn't think about - how people are getting into and out of the airport as quickly as possible.

Get this: This spring saw the biggest increase in passengers compared to 2019. About 1.7 million people used the airport in May and two million in June.

We can tell you from personal experience that some of them may still be sitting in that line to get to the airport. We are warning you - it takes at least an hour - minimum - to get to the arrivals and departures from 2:00 pm onward. Forewarned is forearmed.

Now let's see what the incompetent geniuses who revamped, renovated and upgraded the airport are going to do about this.

President Joe Biden is increasingly beginning to sound like Richard Nixon - I am not a crook - or, even better, Bill Clinton - that depends on what the meaning of the word is, is. You can take your pick.

In a press release Biden made as a presidential candidate in August 2019 he said, “I have never discussed with my son or my brother or anyone else anything having to do with their business, period,” and “There will be an absolute wall between the personal and private and the government.”

Well, it appears that when he said this a) Biden was already completely out of the loop or disoriented or b) he's lying through his teeth and he told, what is commonly called, a lie.

Slowly but surely the truth is dripping out.

A former business partner of the president's son Hunter, recently testified to the House Oversight Committee that then-Vice President Biden addressed their foreign associates over speaker phone roughly 20 times, dined with “corrupt foreign oligarchs” in Washington, D.C., and met with his son’s Chinese business associate for coffee in Beijing. Say what?

As per those investigating Joe and Hunter Biden:

"We know that Hunter Biden and his associates were informed of then-Vice President Biden’s official government duties in countries where they had a financial interest. The National Archives must provide these unredacted records to further our investigation into the Biden family’s corruption.”

Next we read this part which is particularly telling:

“Attached to this email is a document that indicates at 9:00 a.m. on May 27, 2016, Vice President Biden took a call with the president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko. It is concerning to the Committee, however, that this document was sent to ‘Robert L. Peters’ — a pseudonym the Committee has identified as then Vice President Biden. Additionally, the Committee questions why the then-Vice President’s son, Hunter Biden — and only Hunter Biden — was copied on this email to then-Vice President Biden.”

Clearly the Biden's think themselves immune from prosecution. As did Nixon and Clinton. However, they have no issue going after Trump with indictments in four different states. Best look over your shoulders dudes.

We are watching the biggest deflection not seen since Watergate or the Clinton affair. But as the saying goes - and as both of those previous presidents learned - you can run but you can't hide. Eventually, Biden will face the music. The question is will be it sooner or later.

That big mouth AOC - Alexandria Ocasio Cortez was one of the biggest proponents of Biden cancelling student loans. Even when his attempt failed, she was still at it.

Turns out - follow the money. Madame Cortez has an outstanding student loan of $50,000 all the while making$174,000 a year as a U.S. House of Representatives member, consistently advocating for actions that would also directly benefit herself.

She is as slimy as they get. Feh.

The czar legault signed a $1.2-billion collaboration between Ford and Korean companies ECOPRO BM and SK On to produce components of electric car batteries. Do you know where this plant will be built? In the heart of the czar's base - in the rural areas. No way Blanche. What a coinkidink.

Do the Koreans know that if they speak English in their factory they will be fined under Bill 96? Do they know that if they put rice on their lunch menu it better say riz or the office de la langue francais will come after them?

All of this of course is based on the entire province giving up their gas cars and getting electric cars.

Two things about that:

A) there are no cars to be had and b) the current electrical grid collapses when there is a hint of wind or three drops of rain. Unless the grid is upgraded to something more than Cuba, best keep your gas car.
