Canada's Reverse-Engineered Stupidity on Many Levels...Again Trump is Right...Israel Betters The World Again...

So you're sound asleep in your house and you hear an intruder. You freeze but the kids are sleeping in the next rooms.
You slowly get up to see who broke in. The man is armed. You manage to get hold of a knife and a fight ensues. The intruder is badly injured.
The police come and you are charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon. The intruder? Taken to the hospital with a big booboo probably to be charged with breaking and entering.
This reaction from the police in Lindsay Ontario borders on the absurd.
The US has what is called the stand-your-ground law which is enforced in 38 of the 51 states.
In essence, the stand-your-ground law is a legal principle that allows individuals to use deadly force in self-defense when they reasonably believe it is necessary to prevent death or great bodily harm, without a duty to retreat before using such force, as long as they are in a place they are legally allowed to be.
In other words, if someone broke into your house while you were there, you are, according to this law, allowed to use self-defence. Period. We're not even talking about using the gun you own.
Canada has no such law and as such, the man in Lindsay Ontario is now faced with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
We ask this question: Does the law expect this man to call 911 and then politely wait with an armed intruder until the police show up? If this sounds absurd, it is.
Who exactly is the criminal here? We have no words for the justice system here if the case is not dropped immediately. Our first example of reverse engineering stupidity.

Again, you may not want to read this, but in California Donald Trump seems to be the only adult in the room.
He just pulled more than $12 million from California over “gender ideology” in its sexual education programs.
To be blunt and a bit graphic, they are using materials that promote the belief that boys could be girls and girls could be boys and that the solution, oftentimes, was mutilating their genitals.
Democrats are literally out of their minds.
We told you to be careful who you voted for during the last federal election. We kept warning you.
Turns out, we were right. Mark Carney is more DEI, more liberal, more tree-hugging anyone ever dreamed he was.

Next Monday, the federal agriculture department will begin accepting applications for 'free money' (that you earned to give to someone else). For what you ask?
To fund garden boxes, refrigeration units, greenhouses, ATVs, snowmobiles, tractors, hydroponic systems and more. Sounds not bad. Local gardens etc. Ah, but there's a catch.
Anyone who receives these funds must use them to directly support food production for 'equity-deserving groups'. In other words, you must prove that you support DEI and share your produce with only those groups.
No longer can your garden give a cucumber to someone at risk, like a kid who lives on the street. Nope.
These are the questions which must be correctly (to the government's satisifcation) answered to get that money handout:
...Do you support diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI)
...Are you “Black-led or Black-focused”
...Do you have a DEI staffing plan
... Which “equity-deserving” groups do you serve
And finally our personal favorite:
,,,Is your garden is majority-owned by women and individuals whose gender is “gender outside of the ‘woman—man’ spectrum. Figure that one out on your own.
This is our second example of Canada's reverse engineering stupidity.

Sephora is a cosmetics chain that originated in Paris in the 1990s.
Back then, spotting one of their massive, black-and-white branded stores on the Champs-Élysées felt almost like stepping into a beauty theme park. For many women and teens today, it’s less about necessity and more about the experience. Just entering the store becomes an outing in itself.
Alas, some of the brands they carry come with the statements from the men or women who invented them. Case in point is a brand called Huda owned by Huda Kattan, an Iraqi American.
Kattan may be good at promoting makeup, but she has not a clue about politics and should have kept her big mouth shut. Very bad business move.
Sephora has pulled Huda Beauty from its upcoming fall “Experts” campaign following a major public backlash over a TikTok video by Kattan.
In the video, Kattan falsely claimed that Israel was responsible for World War I, World War II, 9/11, and the 2023 Hamas attack. Got that? Aside from blaming Israel for hurricanes and tornadoes, she blamed them for everything else.
We hope that not only does Sephora pull her products from their upcoming campaign, they pull her entire line from their stores. This anti-Huda compaign was swift and effective. The next one will be the same and both the Sephora and Huda brands will be damaged.
Kattan has nothing but air between her ears. She's someone who is good at makeup but that's it. She certainly didn't read the room if she put out that statement on TikTok.
Alas, antisemites come in all shapes, sizes and colors.

Tel Aviv University announced that Israel is preparing to perform the world’s first-ever human spinal cord implant using a patient’s own cells, a medical breakthrough that could allow paralyzed patients to stand and walk again,
The surgery, expected in the coming months, will take place in Israel and marks a historic milestone in regenerative medicine.
Spinal cord injuries are one of the few human injuries where the body cannot naturally heal itself, and the tissue is both structurally complex and extremely sensitive.
The technology was commercialized through Matricelf, which was founded in 2019.
Matricelf CEO Gil Hakim said, "If successful, this therapy could define a new standard of care in spinal cord repair, addressing a multi-billion-dollar market with no effective solutions today. We are proud that Israel is leading this global effort and are fully committed to bringing this innovation to patients worldwide.”
Like we have said here on numerous occasions: Israel makes the world a better place. Please tell us what arabs have contributed to the world aside from creating chaos and war.
Good Shabbos
We'll talk...
