Gird yourself for this one. It appears Canada is very close to recognizing palestinian statehood. How do we know this? From the open hint to the news media made by the Israeli embassy in Canada.
They would never have said a thing if this abhorrent recognition was not imminent.
"Such a step would amount to an unconscionable reward for the heinous Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023 — an attack marked by mass murder and the brutal kidnapping of innocent civilians, including Canadian citizens."
Mark Carney has stepped closer and closer to doing this since he was elected. His sympathies clearly lie with the 'poor palestinians' and this step would be the final stamp of approval for his wish for a 'two-state' solution.
Again we will reiterate that palestine does not exist. So by pushing the two state solution, what Carney is in fact doing is giving hamas their own country as a reward for their brutality on October 7.
It gets worse and more infuriating. Blanche, did you know Canada has a chief representative to the Palestinian General Delegation to Canada?
Her name is Mona Abuamara and she told the media she feels that Canada is getting closer to formally recognizing Palestinian statehood. In an article published on Wednesday, she said the recognition would “set in stone for Canadians the rights of the Palestinian people to self-determination.”
Self-determination? Nobody with a brain thinks hamas even knows what those words mean. They rule like tribal leaders. Do what we say or you're dead.
And, she is still pushing for Canada to take a harsher stance on Israel’s actions in Gaza, and has commended Canada for its recent use of “tougher language.” Gross.
Hey Housefather, still staying in the liberal party? You think Carney is going to listen to you? If Carney goes ahead and does what it seems he is hell bent on doing - recognizing hamas aka palestine as a state and Housefather doesn't get out...
Let's just say he will be very unwelcome in any Jewish institution anywhere in Canada. He'll have to start keeping permanent company with his dear friends the Philipinos.
And our Prime Minister? What a fool on the wrong side of history.

In a very revealing article which should not come as a shock to anyone, we learned that it was 'progressive Jews' who helped push Mamdani, New York's aspiring communist mayor, over the finish line in last month's primary.
We were especially intrigued by one of his team, Andrew Epstein. He is a young professional digital director who built an online campaign producing all the campaign’s social media videos, several of which went viral.
Here's the kicker: He worked closely with Mamdani's campaign manager and chief of staff. Together, they made the candidate approachable to reporters and booked him on podcasts, including those who opposed Mamdani. All done to broaden the campaign’s reach and engage younger voters. He also helped with debate prep.
We will deviate for a moment here.
Had Pierre Poilievre followed Mamdani's playbook, the outcome of this year's election might have been very different. We refer to his campaign manager deciding that Poilievre would not be approachable to reporters. As per her edict, no reporters were allowed on the bus or plane. Huge mistake.
If you are in politics, you must be available to the media. Putting Poilievre into a glass house and making him untouchable clearly didn't work. Madam Bryne (Poilievre's campaign manager) created a scenario where Poilievre was off limits to the very people who could have raised his profile.
Back to Mamdani...You will not be surprised to learn that Epstein had previously worked on Bernie Sander's campaign.
Most of the Jews working with Mamdani think like him. One belongs to the Progressive Jews For Racial & Economic Justice. Read between the lines: Israel is the aggressor. Mamdani has pledged to govern based on his commitment to international law and human rights. Seriously?
Someone as toxic as Mamdani can only rise to power when Jews are divided. He fits the bill of a suave, slimey antisemite. Charismatic, great orator and will say whatever he thinks he must to attract the best and brightest. And he was successful.
We are in big trouble.

It appears Americans are not very enamoured with Canada's deforestation capabilities. In fact, they are downright angry. In a letter sent by six republican representatives from Minnesota, they say that the quality of air in their state is severely affected by Canadian forest fires.
The representatives ask how the federal government plans to mitigate the wildfire smoke, attributing "a lack of active forest management" as a major driver of Canadian wildfires.
Of course Canada doesn't agree with that and replied - hold on to your chair - that climate change, largely driven by fossil fuel use, is exacerbating wildfires in both Canada and the United States.
We hope you didn't expect any other kind of answer. Now you may be asking yourself who is in charge of deforestation. Fear not, we will give you the answer. Tim Hodgson.
His appointment as energy and natural resources minister “reinforces questions about where climate and net-zero fit in the government’s overall agenda". Wait a minute. What the heck is net-zero?
It is a target of completely negating the amount of greenhouse gases produced by human activity, to be achieved by reducing emissions and implementing methods of absorbing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Are you sufficiently dizzy yet?
Now what does it mean to absorb carbon dioxide and how is it done? Start rolling your eyes now:
The journey to a low-carbon future starts with setting strong, science-based emissions reduction targets and is brought to life through robust transition plans to decarbonize business operations, assets and entire value chains.
This is Mark Carney at his finest - political and environmental mumbo-jumbo saying absolutely nothing. Nada.

Back to Mamdani. People don't come out of a vaccum. His father, Mahmood, was and is a real piece of work.
Before we launch into what he believes, we must comment on the fact that any moron can become a professor. Education, the truth and accurate history play less than no part in their getting said position. Ok. Now keep reading.
Mahmood Mamdani, a professor at Columbia University, claimed on a panel at the Jaipur Literature Festival in New York in 2022 that hitler was inspired by Abraham Lincoln, that the antisemitic Nuremberg laws were patterned after American laws, and that “the nazi political project was shared by the allies.”
He believes in the marxist philosophy that there are two kinds of identities: there is the identity of the oppressor and the identity of the oppressed. In case you didn't know, that is pure communism.
It gets worse.
In order to eliminate oppression, he argues that we need to dismantle colonialist architecture, and that the tribes must take charge and the tribes must be sovereign.
What tribes exactly is he talking about? We're guessing the poor people must rise up against the rich people.
Zohan Mamdani was spoon fed communism from when he was born. We can understand why he thinks the way he does and want to do the following:
freezing the rent on a million apartments
raising the minimum wage to 30$ by 2030
making child care and the bus system free
replacing police with teams of mental health professionals
establishing city-run grocery stores.
It's the people who voted for him that we don't understand. Did those people ever read a word about communism? Do they know that millions starved under the regime of stalin? Do they know that people don't run away from capitalism but they run for their lives from communism.
New York politicians better GYAT - get their act together very quickly or life as they know it will come to a screeching halt.

Premier François Legault seems to think that firing the head of the license bureau will magically wipe away the grotesque overspending on his failed SAAQ website that never worked. This is a classic Legault move: blame someone else.
And if you think grotesque is overstating the issue, think again. Quebec’s auditor general revealed cost overruns of at least $500 million in the creation of the platform, which to this day does not work properly.
In April 2024, Quebec's auditor general launched an investigation into the rollout of SAAQ clic, inviting the public to share their experiences. The report that emerged on Feb.20, 2025 landed like a bombshell, which in fact it was.
The report revealed, among other things, that the true cost of the SAAQ's digitization attempt had almost doubled to $1.1 billion with no tangible results to justify it. The system still fails to function as intended.
The report also showed that decision-makers disregarded clear warning signs indicating the system was not ready for launch, with companies flagging problems with the portal. Did anyone in Legault's orb listen? No. Maybe the techies were speaking English. Just saying.
Welcome to the farm that is the government of quebec.
Instead of finding the brightest minds to do this - and perish the thought they are English - he used his own gnat-brained people who then farmed out the job to other gnat-brained people.
You just can't make this stuff up.
Good Shabbos
We'll talk..
