Thanks to an astute Blanche reader, we did a deep dive into Chrystia Freeland's (our foreign minister) grandfather and what we found was not pretty. It also brings to question the following: Madame Freeland had to know that the nazi in the House of Commons didn't fight with the russians. She, of all people knows the history. Here ya go:
On Jan. 26, 2022, in the midst of Russia’s preparations to invade Ukraine, Canada’s Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland issued a statement outlining why Canada—home to the largest Ukrainian diaspora outside Russia—would support Ukraine unconditionally, “Canadians—our own parents and grandparents—fought and died to establish a rules-based international order during and after the Second World War.”
That peeps is simply not true.
Freeland’s Ukrainian grandfather on her mother’s side, Michael Chomiak never fought to establish a rules-based international order.
During the War, Freeland's grandfather edited Krakivski Visti, a nazi propaganda newspaper in occupied Krakow that was printed on a press confiscated (a politically correct way of saying it was stolen) from a Jewish owner. Those last few words belong to Freeland.
Freeland is not responsible for her grandfather's actions. But she is responsible for bringing him up at every opportunity to portray him as a liberal democrat who profoundly influenced her politics. It's not true.
What Freeland is doing is called revisionist history. But guess what? Not only are Jews very smart people, able to read and uncover the truth, so are many other journalists.
In fact, her grandfather recruited for the Galicia Division of the Waffen-SS — the same division as hunka, the nazi who was recently honored by Canada's Parliament, receiving two rousing standing ovations.
Everytime we write this sentence we cringe knowing that rest of the free world thinks we are completely ignorant of history - which most clearly are. But we digress.
Freeland is not, under any circumstances, to be trusted. We are guessing that her silence while (and since then) the nazi was being feted in parliament meant she had a very good idea who he was and covered for both herself and her grandfather How do we know? Her silence was deafening.
You can fool some of the people some of the time and you can fool all of the people some of the time. But you cannot fool all of the people all of the time. Disney is learning this lesson the hard way.
They have abysmally failed to make any inroads with conservative Americans who turned on them over their ridiculous woke politics.
A survey was done in late September. The results: over 60% of Republicans have an unfavorable opinion of Disney, including 35% who say they have a “very unfavorable” opinion.
In September a video emerged of a producer confessing that she pushes a “not-at-all secret gay agenda” through Disney content, “adding queerness” to its children’s programming. Special.
How about this, which by the way we have been saying all along: Stick to making movies and stay out of politics. Unless of course Disney is planning a run for speaker of house. Just kidding.
People want to take their kids to see a movie that is clean, with no politics and for sure no agenda. Disney has not gotten the message yet. We're wondering if they have to completely implode before that happens.
There is not a shred of doubt that during all his legal woes, Donald Trump is enjoying this I told you so moment immensely.
You may recall that when he ran for president and even while he was president, one of his mantras was build that wall. He was referring to building a wall along the Texas-Mexican border to stop the mass alient migration into the US. He was roundly ridiculed to put it mildly.
Guess what?
The Department of Homeland Security Secretary said that the dire conditions on the U.S.-Mexico border allows the administration the legal right to waive dozens of laws and regulations in order to rapidly build sections of border wall in areas of south Texas.
Say that again? The DHS and Biden are now saying to build that wall? How sweet it is.

In the you-can't-make-this-up department, seriously peeps - you cannot make this stuff up. A California teachers’ union wants to invite homeless people to sleep in high school parking lots.
The Fresno Teachers Association brought up this idea in a contract proposal saying the district should spend $500,000 to open high school parking lots to homeless families to park their car and - get this one - provide paid security.
They have to be kidding. In fact, they are deadly serious. Wait. There's more these teachers want in their contracts or they will strike.
The union demanded $1 million for a “free laundry service” by 2026, and another million for free yoga, meditation, and exercise programs for students.
The unionized teachers also want free clothes, hygiene products, and shampoo and conditioner for students as well as mental health services for parents.
Here's our solution as per Ronald Reagan: Fire all the teachers (as he did the air traffic controllers), then the let them open up tent cities to take care of the homeless. After that, hire teachers who will focus on teaching rather than saving the world.
Nearly a third of the country’s homeless people live in California. Does their illustrious governor Gavin Newsom know about this? Did you know he's being quietly touted as a candidate for the presidency should Biden pagger - give up?
Let's start with this: Justin deserves a vacation once in a while. The fact that he abuses that privilege is another story. The fact that he lied about how much he spent on his Bozeman Montana vacation is another kettle of fish entirely.
Justin went to Bozeman Montana over the Easter weekend. The government said the four days cost $23,846.00. Ah, but the RCMP, which provides security for him and his family spent $204,993 on that same trip. How is that possible?
Nobody knows because the RCMP won't disclose their expenditures. If you do the math however, Justin's 4 day vacation was $70,000 per day. Your tax dollars at work.
We're not dog lovers so we don't own a dog. Seems Biden is a dog lover but it also seems that he has not the faintest hint of a clue that his dog is not only an animal, but a vicious one at that.
His german shepherd Commander bit no less than a dozen secret service and others around Biden. Some people had to be hospitalized. Did Biden even know what his dog was doing? Clearly not but his machsheva (witch) of a wife Jill certainly did.
This is not his first german shepherd that attacked people around him. Major was another beast who wanted to take a bite of everybody who came within 5 feet of him.
What exactly is the point of having these killer dogs around when he has what is supposedly the best security in the world? Boggles the mind.

I argue that sexuality is not political, and portraying various types of sexuality in a children's movie is neither political nor an 'agenda'. It is reality, and it is life. The fact that various forms of sexuality (homosexuality, transexuality, bisexuality, etc...) have been stigmatized, and in many cases enshrined as wrong by the law, is the problem.
This is tantamount to the fight for civil rights. Racism was the law. Segregation was the law. And even after those evils were (mostly) purged from the rulebooks, racists pushed back and passed laws that are not on their face racist but have an absolutely racist intent (think of how Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingram speaks in very obvious racists tropes, but coaches…
