We believe that G-d runs the world which is shared by the good and clearly not good people who believe that Israel's actions after October 7 went to far. Or, even worse, because Israel was so mean to palestinians, they deserved what happened. Yes dearies, people believe that.
And because many of those people were leaders of countries, like Canada and Australia, we are all now seeing what happens when you a) you don't know history and believe the lies on social media and b) you don't enforce laws already on the books, instead, turning a blind eye to open Jew-hating.
There was a great article in the Wall Street Journal today that sums up what is happening to Jews worldwide as a result of the fools who are heads of their governments.
The first lines...Now they’re all shocked. The progressive activists. The influencers. The Greens. The podcasters. All those impeccably right-on people who’ve spent two years making “Zionist” the dirtiest word in the Australian vocabulary. Who marched down Oxford Street during Mardi Gras holding a sign that said “Globalise the Intifada.”
Well, congratulations. The intifada’s here.
And the final line: You don’t get to globalize the intifada and then act all surprised when it finally shows up.
That about sums up all those now weeping we stand with Australia and with the Jews.
If you claim to stand with Jews, then enforce the law.
What are being called “protests” are nothing of the sort. They are organized intimidation campaigns targeting Jews, carried out by coordinated groups led by highly organized actors who deliberately mobilize society’s fringe. Everyone knows this. Pretending otherwise is a choice. And a dangerous one as we saw in Bondi.
Most of the people who take to the streets couldn't find Israel on a map if you paid them.
They are purely, truly useful idiots for hamas. And they are so stupid they don't know it.
In Australia, a father and son took radical islam into their own hands and, with absolutely no mercy, gunned down Jews in cold blood. And if you think Australia learned anything from that, think again.
That day, or the next, shrieking Jew-haters overran a mall in broad daylight while authorities stood by and did the same nothing they have been doing for the past two years. Nothing. they stood and watched.
Montreal's new mayor seems to get it. Time will tell. At the very least, she is not condoning Jew-hating as Valerie Plante did. She was a real piece of work and her legacy will reflect that.

Two more politicians bit the dust over the past two days. Neither will be missed.
The first was Pablo Rodriquez who, only a few months ago, became leader of quebec's liberal party. As the saying goes, 'echmir' a leader. Loosely translated - look Martha, he's also a leader.
He didn't have a seat in quebec's national assembly and he never led the party to anything but trouble.
A month ago, when the scandal of payment for votes (read payment for him to get said position) came to light, instead of talking to the person who blew the whistle - Marwah Rizqy, he haughtily said she had to come to him to talk. That was the beginning of the end for Pablo as that proved beyond a reasonable doubt that his leadership skills were null and void.
He should have called her, pleaded that she tell him what she knew and take care of business. He did the exact opposite and was in the news cycle for almost a month in what can be only termed as a social media circus.
Today, François Legault’s lackey health minister, Christian Dubé, finally bit the dust. He became the public face of a spectacular healthcare fiasco (Bill 2) engineered by clueless bureaucrats in quebec city. Those people seemed to spend their days dreaming up ever more punitive ways to “get” doctors rather than fix a collapsing system.
Dube was pushed out of the negogiations with the doctors about a month ago. Unless you live under a rock somewhere in Kentucky, you knew he was already toast. And now we see he is.
Next up.

What was Canada's response to the members of parliament who were denied entry into Israel? Here ya go from yet another moronic foreign minister Anita Anand.
Today a private delegation of Canadians, which included Members of Parliament, was denied entry to the West Bank at an Israeli border crossing.
Global Affairs is in contact with the delegation and we have expressed Canada’s objections regarding the mistreatment of these Canadians while attempting to cross.
What exactly did the genius politicians think Israel would do? Those people have made very clear that they hate Israel and Netanyahu. What exactly does Israel owe them? Nothing.
One of them was whining that she was pushed. That the border guards were not nice to her. Boohoohoo. She, as the rest of her group are the epitome of snowflakes. Look at them the wrong way and they want to sue you for hurting their feelings.
We cannot believe that those mp's actually got elected to anything. They are truly cow farmers with zero knowledge of the history of the middle east. All they know is what is fed to them on twitter or other social media sites, with much of the text coming directly from hamas. Your tax dollars at work.

If you want to watch someone burying themselves, you only have to look at the latest floor-crosser - Michael Ma.
He was interviewed on a news program and said one of the most mind-numbingly stupid things we have ever heard:
"The night I attended the Conservative (Christmas) party, I was truly a Conservative member, and really an MP."
The very next morning he met with prime minister Mark Carney and poof! just like that he became 'truly a liberal'.
Poof. Just like that he changed his mind.
Well, some 37,000 people are not buying this and have signed a petition for him to resign. It also begs two questions: a) what did Mark Carney promise him if he crossed the floor or b) what does Mark Carney have on Michael Ma that 'convinced' him to cross the floor.
It's one of those two things. If not, Michael Ma is nothing. Not a liberal and not a conservative because if he can change his mind in five minutes and screw all those who voted for him without blinking an eye, there's no bar he won't cross to fulfull his own personal wishes in the future.

Reading what Foreign Minister Anita Anand said to Australia’s Penny Wong reminds us why public trust in foreign policy has collapsed.
This is what passes for leadership? Vague platitudes, recycled buzzwords, and not a trace of seriousness in a world that desperately requires it.
Canada stands in solidarity with Australia. Today, I spoke with Australia’s Foreign Minister
to express my heartfelt condolences following the antisemitic attacks at Bondi Beach. We agreed to continue working together to fight antisemitism, including through strong legislation to combat hate in each of our countries.
And there it is. Canada stands in solidarity with Australia. All we are missing are the flowers, candles and teddy bears.
Nobody in Australia needs to 'stand' with Canada to stop the Jew-hating protests. Nobody needs 'strong legislation to 'combat hate'.
During the trucker's freedom convoy Canada found the legislation already in place to stop the truckers. Nothing new. Just what was already on the books.
Anita Anand continues to spout useless, empty platitudes that reveal a complete absence of judgment, principle, or seriousness. Absolutely infuriating.

There's a new bank called The Defence, Security and Resilience Bank (DSRB). Canada is one of several countries being considered to host the international bank that would serve about 40 countries by financing security needs.
The CEO is looking for a head office somewhere in Canada and Toronto is bidding for it. So is quebec.
Can we talk? What exactly is Legault smoking? Does he think the CEO just fell off a truck?
There is no doubt he has been reading how difficult it is for high powered, highly educated, non french speaking people to come to quebec. How they can't put their kids into an English school. Or if the can, after two years they have to get out. Or that they didn't read there is not enough french being spoken on the streets.
Or that our healthcare system nearly died on the table because of Legault's completely inept ideas.
No Mr. Legault. This bank is going to Toronto where it belongs. It is the economic capital of the country. It has a welcoming education system. It will bend over backwards to accomodate people who speak any language. Get a grip dude.
Good Shabbos
We'll talk...
