Whoopi Goldberg’s ‘apology’ was less than lip service which is why she was suspended from her tv show. Now she is saying she is ‘livid’ that she was suspended and is threatening to quit. Her apology was empty, lacked intelligence and we sincerely hope she doesn’t utter another word publicly anywhere.
Here’s her apology: “People were very angry, and said no, we are a race. And I understand. I felt differently. I respect everything everyone is saying to me. I don’t want to fake apologize.”
She went on to dig her own grave even deeper: “They (the nazis) — they had issues with ethnicity, not with race, because most of the nazis were white people and most of the people they were attacking were white people. So to me, I’m thinking, how can you say it’s about race if you are fighting each other?”
She thinks herself one of the ‘elite geniuses’ who, because she can memorize lines and act, can give opinions on complicated subjects. Here’s the headline: she is clearly incapable of seeing anything in life except through her own distorted lense and therefore, precious little to offer any intelligent conversation. We will be very happy to see her go.
Everybody in Canada better start praying that the conservative party gets their act together, stops naval gazing and fighting with each other and finds someone that is actually a leader. If they cannot do all three together, then they are handing Justin the keys to Sussex drive for the next ten years or however long he chooses to remain prime minister.
Pierre Poliviere is the media’s choice, but is he the right choice? Having a big mouth and being able to give sound bites does not make one a leader. Let’s just say he is overly full of himself. Plus he ran for the leadership the last round and suddenly, at the last minute, backed out. What is in his closet aside from the requisite hangars? If he’s as smart as he appears to be, he best get in front of his skeleton(s)very quickly.
And a final point here. If it is at all possible, and we’re not sure it is, the old, back room boys in the conservative party should not allow the media to choose the candidate. Alas, we’re not sure that is possible…
All the while emperor legault was running for premier and since then, we have said over and over again he is a separatist. Remember he started in the PQ. No, he’s not the kind that wants to totally separate from Canada because he’s way smarter than his predecessors.
He wants the ‘nation’ of quebec while continuing to take billions of dollars of transfer payments from Ottawa. He wants to be the ‘nation’ of quebec until he needs the Canadian army to come in and help with our neglected, failed medical system.
So why are everyone’s pants on fire because he is refusing to give Dawson College a penny? He was never going to give them money. Why should he when he pushed all of Justin’s buttons by invoking the notwithstanding clause to pass Bill 21 and Justin let him roll all over the civil rights of Quebecers?
Get this: If french canadians are not upset that they are now locked out of english CEGEPS, then there’s nothing English quebecers can do. More space in Dawson? Get a grip.
Until big business stops coming here because of bills like 21 and 96 and wealthy french Canadian businessmen open their mouths and say enough, emperor legault will continue to squeeze the english in this province. Why is anyone surprised?
Everyone agrees that Johns Hopkins is a respectable, reliable university. So when they issue a study, people take notice. They did just that, saying that worldwide pandemic lockdowns only prevented 0.2 per cent of COVID-19 deaths and were “not an effective way of reducing mortality rates during a pandemic.
“We find no evidence that lockdowns, school closures, border closures, and limiting gatherings have had a noticeable effect on COVID-19 mortality.” Wait. It gets better: “The impact of border closures was found to be even less effective, with death rates only going down about 0.1 per cent.”
To reiterate, the insane and useless pcr tests that people need to take when going between Canada and the US are doing one thing: creating a new and very lucrataive industry for people doing these tests.
Case in point: We can cross the border with a negative PCR test. Upon entering the US we can immediately take another PCR test which will clearly also be negative. We can then remain in the US for 3 days, party, go to weddings, bars, football games etc. Perhaps we will contract the omicron virus, perhaps not. But the PCR test will show we are negative.
Now you tell us what this pcr bs is doing? We’ll tell you. Nothing. It’s political, pure and simple and is why people have stopped taking almost all ‘edicts’ seriously. Especially having to show a vaccine passport here.
Emperor legault doesn’t want to ‘divide’ the population so he nixed the vax tax? And having to show a vax passport isn’t dividing the population? He’s a sneaky, slimy political opportunist and is using the population as the testing ground for his approval ratings. We won’t bite.
The olympics are starting in China. Can we talk? At the best of times these games are riddled with scandals. Before the west woke up, Russian and chinese athletes were pumped with drugs giving them an unfair advantage to say the least. That is a minor issue compared to this year’s. Blanche, did you know that no matter what country you are from, if you in any way, shape or form utter anything negative about china and they get wind of it, you can expect to be arrested? In case you think we are exaggerating, think again. Remember the American student who took a picture off the wall in his hotel? The chinese sent him home to die after beating him to a pulp.
Never mind that china’s leaders are ruthless dictators who could care less about their population. Why anyone is watching these games is beyond our comprehension. And any country who sent their athletes there should hang their heads in shame.
Democrats are so out of their minds that Hillary might run in 2024 that they are now floating Michelle Obama as a potential candidate. Never mind that she isn’t interested.
She carries no obvious baggage, nor is she scandal-plagued. The Obama’s fundraising ability is limitless. You may say she is not qualified. Well, get this one: the new qualification standard is if you get elected, you are qualified. Clearly Biden is a case in point.
Michelle Obama’s popularity would attract crowds equal to Trump’s and reminiscent of her husband’s. Her record-breaking 2019 book tour filled arenas in 31 cities.
But the main reason for their choice is because the mainstream media slobbers over her.
