In a Toronto Seniors Housing Corporation building near Bathurst Street and Steeles Avenue, a predominately Jewish area in Toronto, 20 mezuzahs were ripped off doorposts in the middle of the night.

To put this into stark perspective, people entered the building, walked through the hallways while seniors were asleep and ripped mezuzahs off doorposts. We don't have to extrapolate that much more physical damage could have been done to people. Mercifully, nobody seems to have heard them or if they did, wisely remained in their apartments, calling the police.

What is Olivia Chow, the erstwhile mayor of Toronto doing?

For starters, here's what she said, "This an outrageous and vile act of antisemitism. This is a public supportive housing building for seniors. They deserve to live in peace without fear of being targeted for being Jewish."

Excellent. Seniors deserve to live in peace. Now what are you planning to do besides issuing empty statements no one believes?

By not stopping intentional targeting of Jews in Toronto for the past two years, Chow is responsible for emboldening what is now termed 'protesters' as well as bringing people out of the woodwork who have nothing to do with their lives other than going after Jews.

Whether they are being radicalized online or are just antisemites, nobody is stopping outright morons from chasing Jews on the street - which in Toronto is called a 'peaceful protest' or from blocking traffic to 'pray' which is nothing more than intimidation, or now, entering apartment buildings to tear mezuzahs off doors.

You will be happy to know that the mezuzahs are in the process of being replaced as we write this.

As well, non-Jews who never heard of the word mezuzah now know what a mezuzah is. It comes from the Torah, specifically from the Shema: And you shall write them upon the doorposts of your house and upon your gates.

So when you see a mezuzah on the doorpost of a home, it is telling you that here is a Jewish home.

Ripping off a mezuzah is not a scare tactic because the home and those inside are still Jewish. It is a foolish move that will push Jews to be louder, prouder Jews.

And no, we will not bow to cowards who target seniors under cover of darkness.

We received an email from our clinic in Montreal.

It was heartfelt, sincere and incredulous at the sheer stupidity of our premier Francois Legault and his health minister Christian Dube. It was a heads-up that if Bill 2 passes, they will have to close their doors.

Here is part of the email:

...We started with three professionals, one modest space, and one conviction that, as trite as it may sound, "care" needed to be put back into "healthcare".

Navigating the system myself, I saw how patients were left waiting, unheard, shuffled from place to place. I wanted to create something that felt different. A clinic that might look and run like private care but remained public.

A place where people were treated with respect, where appointments were not battles, and where the human part of medicine mattered as much as the medical part.

...Now we are being asked to deliver more, absorb more, be responsible for more, all without the support required to do it safely or ethically.

We have stretched every limit already. If we stretch further, the quality you rely on disappears. The heart of this place disappears. And that is something we cannot allow.

It is very clear that both Mr. Legault and Mr. Dube have never waited in an emergency room for 36 hours to be seen. It is also clear that they both have their own doctor, one that they can call whenever they need care.

They have no connection or awareness to the people they claim to represent.

They live in their ivory tower and spew asinine edicts that will decimate the healthcare system. That will destroy a clinic like the one we go to - one that was established to bring the word care back into healthcare.

And in about a year they will both be gone and we will be left with the catastrophe they created.

Is there nobody out there who can explain to those two men that their legacy will be one of the masterminds of ultimate mismanagment. The dismantling of a system already at risk.

If you are out there, now is the time to act.

Just when you thought the insanity in the world had peaked, surprise, it hasn’t. And if New York is on your itinerary, go before January. After Mamdani takes over as mayor, you may need a security escort and divine intervention to recognize the city.

The soon-to-be-mayor has picked a rapper who did seven years in state prison for armed robbery to advise him on the criminal justice system. You simply cannot make this stuff up.

After serving his prison sentence, Mysonne Linen spent years volunteering as a so-called violence interrupter and also founded Rising Kings, a non-profit group that teaches classes to inmates at Rikers Island.

If that's no enough, Linen also partnered up with anti-Israel activist and adviser of Mamdani, Linda Sarsour, to found the group Until Freedom, a social justice activism organization.

Linda Sarsour is an advisor of Mamdani? We will remind you that she was well known for co-chairing the Women's March, fighting 'racial' justice and fighting for Muslim American and Palestinian rights.

We are not done yet. Here are a few more people on Mamdani's payroll:

Alex Vitale, a sociology professor who authored a 2017 anti-cop book that decried NYPD “broken windows” policing and warned of ingrained racism in the NYPD ranks. He was named to the 26-member “Committee on Community Safety.”

Radical Zakiyah Shaakir-Ansari, co-director of the Alliance for Quality Education and a far-left 'activist' will serve on Mamdani’s “Committee on Youth & Education.”

Literally the inmates will be running the asylum.

In breaking news, Kristen Hillman, Canada’s Ambassador to the U.S. appointed by the love-struck Justin Trudeau, is stepping down in the new year as the country’s top diplomat in Washington.

It appears that Hillman was, as per journalist Brian Lilley, was an impediment to Mark Carney. For starters, she was all in for Biden and never thought Trump would win. Already a problem.

Then she was unable to negogiate properly with Trump's people.

As such, "staff signed a contract in March with a firm headed up by Democrats to teach them how to speak to Republicans. The contract, only worth about $8,300, vowed to teach embassy staff how to understand “right-wing messaging” and how to provide the embassy with “interview preparation with a conservative slant.”

That wasn't enough. The contract with Signal Group also said they would teach embassy staff how to talk to American right-wing media for, get this -$2,000 per hour.

Now she's leaving. Most likely she saw the wall with the writing, although if she backed Biden that wall must have hit her in the head.

We'll talk...
