We just watched a short video of Israeli children running from their playground into a shelter because sirens went off in Israel. Isn't it interesting that with all these life-threatening interruptions, Israel still leads the world with Nobel prizes and tech? In case. you hadn't noticed, Jews make the world a better place.

When the arabs were given the 'gift' of Gush Katif from Ariel Sharon in 2005, the kibbutz was flourishing. They took ownership and destroyed it. As they do with everything else they touch, including gaza. Those living in gaza and its environs contribute nothing to the world.

Which makes it incredulous that the useful idiots for hamas keep on promoting them. Those people are jaw-droppingly ignorant. They are promoting sharia law. They are promoting the erasure of women from daily life. How stupid are they?

They should be lauding Israel for fighting this fight for the rest of the world.

Sadly, as we all know, Israel is no stranger to pain...

We listened to a podcast about the Maalot massacre which took place in Maalot Israel, in May, 1974. We put a link to the podcast at the end of this blog. You will vividly understand why anyone in the diaspora does not have the luxury to posit one word of advice.

At the end of the podcast, a letter was read. It was written by Ilana to her parents. She was 16 years old, being held captive by terrorists and knew she was about to die.

She thanked her parents for living in Israel and for bringing her up as a Jew. She was wise beyond her young years, understanding that her mission in this world was only supposed to be 16 years. She told her parents not to grieve for her...An hour after she wrote that letter she was shot and died.

There is something different about the Jewish people. They give to the world much more than they get, no matter what is thrown at them.

We understand why people living in gaza hate the Jewish people. It is taught to them from birth.

But people in North America getting sucked into that toxic, cesspool of hate? Why they follow this violent rhetoric is incomprehensible. And they truly, really are idiots supporting hamas and evil.

Musings about Carney's first few days in office...

...After months of fawning coverage from the CBC and a public promise of $150 million in funding, you'd think Mark Carney's first sit-down interview as Prime Minister would be with the network that openly went to bat for him during the campaign. Nope.

He gave it to CTV. We found that very interesting.

...Thanks to Anthony Koch for this one: Thoughts and prayers go out to Anthony Housefather and Rachel Bendayan at this difficult time. In other words they got nothing from Carney. Zip. Zero. Zilch. Bendayan spent a few months in cabinet before the election and was unceremoniously booted out.

Housefather? Judging by all his whining - after he won no less, he must be wah-waaaaahing that he's is relegated to the back of the backbenches.

...As was noted by every pundit, the front line, heavy hitters of Carney's cabinet looked very much like Justin's. Oh, wait. They were all part of Justin's world.

...We watched an interview with Carney. His fuse is not just short. It's nil. If he doesn't like the question being asked he almost cannot control himself. "How dare you ask me that, Do you know who I am ?"

...One thing we do like about Carney - he's on time. Unlike Justin who never respected anyone else's time but his own. He was always, always, always late - by at least 45 minutes for every press conference and interview.

Carney comes from the world of business where time is money. Justin comes from the airy fairy world of a drama queen where time is a word in the dictionary. We are still waiting to see where he lands.

...Anita Anand is our new foreign affairs minister. Please note that before Carney came on the scene she announced she was not running for her seat in parliament because she wanted to 'spend more time with her family'.

The instant Carney appeared and it became clear that the liberals might win, she did an about face and said she was running.

There are very few jobs that mean that you will spend less time with your family than foreign affairs. Clearly she was full of it when she said she wanted to spend more time with her husband and four children.

...But that's not the worst part about Anand. On the first day in her new job - yesterday - she made very sure to blame Israel for the 'genocide' and deaths in gaza.

Let's clear this up for her. Hamas started the war. They refuse to surrender. They refuse to release all the hostages. Hamas also steals the aid for their fighters.

Our blood was boiling when we read this story.

The Florida Panthers have a minority owner by the name of Douglas Cifu who is Jewish and has been suspended indefinitely for his online exchange with someone who is clearly an antisemite.

During a recent game between Florida and Toronto, a 'fan' from Toronto posted the following: “Hey what’s worse, using headshots” — that is, illegal above-the-shoulders hockey hits — “to win a series or using starvation as a weapon to win a war?”

Cifu went ballistic. Here is the back and forth:

Cifu: “Actually being a whiny dope anti-semite is clearly worse. Loser."

"Not approving of using starvation as a weapon makes me a bigot?”

Cifu: “Eat s— 51st state anti-semite loser. Israel now and forever. Until ever [sic] last Hamas rat is eliminated.”

As the back-and-forth circulated on social media, Cifu made his X account private, then deactivated it. Cifu then grovelled to the Panthers organization and apologized profusely.

Seriously? Cifu apologized??? Fans were incensed at the Panthers suspending Cifu and this is what one person wrote.

“He’s 100% right, and the NHL needs to develop a backbone and not side with murderers whose sole aim is to kill civilians.” Bravo.

The person who started this dialogue was celebrating Cifu's suspension. Jews should not, cannot back down.

Yes, Cifu could have used better language, but Israel did not start this war. hamas did on October 7. Period.

Finally, the democrat party in the US is telling the truth which means for the past almost five years they were lying through their teeth.

David Axelrod was Obama's campaign manager and adviser. In the past few days, he called Biden’s decision to seek re-election “irresponsible” on the part of both the former president and his family.

He laced into Biden's inner circle and top Democrats for adapting the former president’s schedule to accommodate his “declining condition,” while simultaneously arguing to voters that he was fit to serve another term.

He kept going painting a picture of a widespread effort within Biden’s inner circle to conceal his deteriorating condition from public view, with insiders pursuing “aggressive efforts to hide his cognitive diminishment.”

The head concealer of course was Biden's wife Jill who could not bring herself to leave the White House. Our guess is that from the second Biden won the last election insiders already knew he had either early on-sent dementia or alzheimers.

And that press secretary of his - Karine Jean Pierre lied through her teeth everytime she had a press conference. Straight out lied with great arrogance if confronted. How dare you question me about the mental capacity of the president.

Everybody who questioned her and others was correct. Biden was unfit to be president.

This blog is also dedicated to Tze'ela Gez, of blessed memory, a resident of Samaria and mother of three who was nine months pregnant en route to deliver her fourth baby when she was murdered by a terrorist who opened fire at their vehicle. So now three young children have lost their mother and an infant is fighting for its life.
