What the heck is happening to the quebec liberal party? Seriously?

It took them almost 3 years to find a new leader. They finally muddled through that and elected Pablo Rodriquez who held various positions in the federal liberal party. Now they are imploding giving the separatist party a big opening for the next election and the very distinct possibility of a referendum.

Rodriquez is mired in a scandal that could not only take him down, but could possibly take the entire party down less than a year before the next provincial election. Whoever is orchestrating this mess is doing a bang-up job. Here's a timeline of what has transpired:

June 9-14: The lberals hold its leadership race; Pablo Rodriguez wins and becomes new leader.

Mid-June 2025: Since Rodriguez doesn’t have a seat in the provincial assembly, he appoints Marwah Rizqy as parliamentary leader giving her the job of leading the liberal caucus in the legislature.

Nov 18–19, 2025: The scandal breaks. Media outlets publish alleged screenshots of text messages suggesting that during the leadership race, certain liberal members were offered money or incentives for their vote supporting Rodriguez.

Nov 19, 2025: Rodriguez orders an external, independent investigation into the cash-for-votes allegations.

Same week (Nov 19–21): And internal purge starts to unravel: Marwah Rizqy, the parliamentary leader suspends her chief of staff (Geneviève Hinse), without first informing Rodriguez or caucus leaders. It is to be noted that Hinse is good friends with Rodriguez.

Nov 21, 2025: Rodriguez then suspends Rizqy from caucus and removes her from her leadership role citing a breach of trust. That destabilizes the liberal party from within at a moment of external pressure.

Nov 21–22, 2025: Hinse, the ex–chief of staff, filed a lawsuit for damages claiming her dismissal was unjustified.

Nov 24, 2025 (and since): Rodriguez has lost control of the narrative and the quebec liberal party appears completely disoriented.

In the world of politics, if a story lasts one or two cycles, it's a lot. This story? It has gone on for almost 2 weeks with no end in sight. And that is the kiss of death.

You can be certain that the quebec separatist party and the caq are doing two things: remaining silent allowing the liberals to bury themselves and jumping for joy in their offices.

Remember we told you about the cabal that was defeated in the city of Cote St. Luc? Don't think we didn't get flack for calling those men a cabal. But guess what? We're not done yet. We left out one person, who it seems is the king of the cabal castle and who foolishly showed his cards publicly.

Mr. Sydney Margles is the newly installed President of the Mount Royal Riding Association, which at another time is worthy of a deep dive. All we will say is that nothing happens in CSL or the quebec liberal party without the consent of Margles, Housefather and Brownstein.

Now that you are armed with this information, this is what he wrote publicly when David Tordjman, recently elected mayor of Cote St. Luc posted a picture of his newly elected council on Instagram:

"Is this an indication of the of Sephardi in the front and Ashkenazi in the back? Poor optics."

Literally, you can't make this stuff up. Neil Oberman went after Margles and basically told him that he is a poor loser because his BFF lost the election.

Margles pushed back, asking again why Sephardi's are in the front.

This is a sly, underhanded way of pointing out that David Tordjman is Sephardi and now CSL has a Sephardi mayor. And of course sour grapes because their guy lost.

Tordjman better watch his back. The cabal is going to try to make his life 'very interesting'.

Another one bites the dust. Yes dearies, yet another of Justin's friends, Steven Guilbeault, has quit Carney's cabinet. He was the Canadian Identity and Culture Minister. Seriously, they make up jobs we have to pay for.

He quit over the federal government signing of the memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Alberta which is an agreement between Ottawa and Alberta that includes a path forward for a new bitumen pipeline to the B.C. coast.

Ok, what is a bitument pipeline? Here ya go: It is a pipeline specifically designed to transport bitumen which is the very heavy, thick form of crude oil found in places like Alberta’s oil sands.

Guilbeault is a virulent climate change guy, one of those nutball 'activists' which means the word pipeline gives him hives.

Carney wanted to get rid all Justin's people so Guilbeault just did him a big favor. And he didn't even have to say he left to spend more time with his family.

Yesterday, two National Guard members, Andrew Wolfe and Sarah Beckstrom, were ambushed steps from the White House.

The shooting was done by a muslim let in under Biden's watch. Sarah Beckstrom who is 20 years old, is not expected to survive.

This was a violent attack on U.S. troops in the nation’s capital. Leaders with even a basic sense of decency stepped forward to condemn the violence, and stand with the country.

Except one. Mamdani. He was and still is silent.

He didn't have to hold a press conference. All he had to do was a simple tweet that he is praying for the man and woman who were shot. He couldn't even do that. Good luck to those in New York.
