NYC Jewish Money is in a Panic...Mark Carney Dropped the Ball...What is Happening to NYC? Oh Yes. Happy Canada Day...

So Zohran Mamdani a 'proud' communist and Jew-hater just won his New York primary.
Within hours, the question ricocheting through the boardrooms of Jewish businessmen wasn’t who is this guy? Or what’s his platform? Nope. It was how fast can we get our money out, and where should it go?
As a result, a handful of veteran, Jewish real-estate investors from the New York area drafted an “equity-swap” proposal that would let New York homeowners offset expected losses from Mamdani’s surprise Democratic mayoral-primary victory by buying apartments in Israel.
The businessmen spent the weekend refining a one-page outline for the Finance Ministry. And here it is:
If a person in the U.S. sells their home after a primary election and its appraised value has dropped (likely due to political/economic instability), they can get compensated for the amount they lost in home value.
But instead of cash, they’d receive something called an "Israeli escrow voucher" - a kind of credit or financial certificate denominated in U.S. dollars.
To get that compensation:
They must prove the drop in appraised value.
They must buy a home in Israel of equal value (to the pre-drop value).
And they must do it within 12 months.
One businessman put it this way: "My Brooklyn duplex was worth about $1 million last year. Since Mamdani promised a rent freeze and millionaire surtax, offers are already landing closer to $750,000. If Israel makes up the missing $250,000 on a Tel Aviv flat, I’ll move the family tomorrow.”
It is to be noted that the people talking here are not billionaires. They are wealthy but much of their wealth is tied up in real estate.
Another man said you own a house you thought was worth a million; overnight it’s worth seven hundred thousand, your equity is wiped out, and taxes are going to double. So you still pay the same mortgage, but you can’t get out.
Another person put it this way: Florida is crazy expensive now. Palm Beach? Impossible. Israel suddenly looks cheap if the government helps bridge the gap.
If even half of the money in this story leaves New York, Mamdani will have to borrow from North Korea, his communist friend, to give all the freebies he said are coming.

Pierre Poilievre repeatedly told Mark Carney and Trudeau before him, not to impose the Digital Services Tax (DST) on the US. Mr. Arrogance Carney knew better and imposed it anyway, making a big splash last Friday with that announcement. Alas, that was the moment he dropped the ball.
It took Trump about five minutes to tell Carney to take a hike by stopping all trade talks immediately.
Zut alors, this past Sunday night around 10:00 pm when he thought nobody was looking, Mark Carney suddenly changed his mind - good morning America - and rescinded the tax effective immediately.
Of course Poilievre will get zero credit for being right. What we really want to see however, is if the media gives Carney a pass on this very embarrassing decision.
We will add that Carney's 'advisors' and his cabinet are almost all of Justin's people. They were incompetent then and clearly have not improved whatsoever under Carney's leadership.
The person in charge of this file is François-Philippe Champagne who was with Justin in various cabinet positions since 2017. He is now Minister of Finance and National Revenue and from what just happened, is in a job way over his head.
Whoever was the genius who thought to put that DST on the US, effective immediately and retroactive to January 2022 is a very special kind of moron.
The tariff talks are back on but now Trump doesn't trust Carney like he did before. Dumb, dumb, dumb move.

What the heck is going on in New York city? What we are seeing is that Mamdani’s rise isn’t just about him — it’s a warning sign.
When a communist, openly hostile to Israel, becomes a serious mayoral contender, it reveals a much deeper rot.
And here it is...
The NYC's Department of Education (DOE) is offering free halal meals at more than two dozen sites as part of its summer food initiative for youth.
Kosher meals? Only available by special request and are not listed publicly.
Got that?
While halal meal options are featured on DOE menus and promoted online, there is no mention of kosher options for observant Jewish families.
The DOE refuses to address the disparity in how religious dietary accommodations are being publicized for one religion and no others. Welcome to the new America people.

Ireland is trying to ban all goods coming from the West Bank in Israel.
They are not only trying to ban those goods, the government-backed measure would criminalize imports from West Bank settlements. However, much to their chagrin, their little hate-the-Jews ploy was judged illegal under international law. So far...Keep reading.
Why? They would be breaching European Union single-market rules.
Here's the real issue going on: Although trade with Ireland in West Bank settlement goods is tiny, Dublin’s move is widely seen as a test case that other EU capitals hostile to Israel’s war in Gaza may emulate.
Last month, nine member states led by Belgium and Spain urged Brussels to consider an EU-wide ban on settlement commerce, citing last year’s International Court of Justice advisory opinion that declared the occupation illegal.
And to get to the heart of the issue...The International Court of Justice (ICJ), also known as the World Court, is the principal judicial organ of the United Nations.
Now you know the real story. And may we add that the United Nations is the most corrupt organization in the entire world.

In a spectacularly dumb move, the Houthis in Yemen fired a missile toward Israel today, triggering sirens in Jerusalem and the surrounding areas.
Israel intercepted it mid-air but the message was received loud and clear: Yemen doesn't know when to quit. And why is that?
Yemen says the ceasefire between Israel and Iran it doesn't apply to them. So they think that gives them the green light to shoot missiles at Israel? Dumb is giving them too much credit.
Trump wants missiles gone and peace on the table for everyone.
So when Mike Huckabee, U.S. Ambassador to Israel, suggested that perhaps a few B-2 bombers should "visit Yemen," let’s just say the gloves might be coming off.
Huckabee said, “We thought we were done with missiles coming to Israel, but Houthis just lit one up over us in Israel.”
Some people just don’t know when to quit.
Happy Canada Day.
We'll talk...
