In the OMG OMG Department Mark Carney has announced the new president of the Public Health Agency of Canada—Nancy Hamzawi. Her credentials? A bunch of degrees in chemical engineering and biochemistry from the University of Ottawa. Impressive, yes—but what does that have to do with being the public health leader?
Let’s play a game. Why did Mark Carney give this woman the job?
Let’s count the boxes: Arab? Check. Woman? Check. Hijab? Triple check. That’s three-for-three in the woke Olympics.
And can someone explain why Theresa Tam is still wearing a mask? Does Nancy Hamzawi have a contagious illness? Or is this just Tam reminding us who made Canada suffocate for two years?
No, she’s not sick. Tam just can’t help herself. If she had it her way, we’d all still be masked, isolated, and waiting for the next pandemic.
Back to our new genius. Peeps, the Public Health Agency of Canada isn’t a chemical lab. It’s supposed to lead during pandemics, manage disease outbreaks, and guide national health priorities.
You’d think that requires experience in, say, medicine, epidemiology, or actual public health.
We did a deep dive to learn more. Where was she born? Is she married? Does she have any experience treating humans, not just chemicals? Nothing. Zip. Zilch.
Be careful what you wish for those who ran to vote for Carney.

If you listen to the news, the heat wave we are currently experiencing is a) the worst in history b) caused by climate change c) is earlier than usual also caused by climate change and d) we're all going to melt.
Can someone please tell all those hysterical climate change fanatics to get a grip? We googled three random years of heatwaves and here's what we found:
The summer of 1952 experienced a major heat wave across the eastern two-thirds of the United States, particularly in June, with record-breaking temperatures and a prolonged period of high heat and humidity. This heatwave was characterized by temperatures exceeding 100°F (37.8°C) in many areas, including as far north as Boston and Detroit, and some cities experiencing their hottest June on record.
The 1972 heat wave in the New York and Northeastern United States was a significant event, resulting in nearly 900 deaths and lasting for approximately 16 days. High humidity exacerbated the extreme temperatures, making the heat wave particularly impactful.
During the Summer of 1983 temperatures over 38 °C (100 °F) were common across Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, Minnesota, Kansas, Nebraska, and certain parts of Kentucky; the summer of 1983 remains one of the hottest summers ever recorded in many of the states affected.
Do you see the thread in all of these heatwaves? During the summer we get heat waves. Period.
As you can read for yourself, each year claimed that their year was one of the hottest summers ever recorded.
It's summer. It's going to be hot. It passes and we move onto fall. Take a pill, get an air conditioner and calm down.

It appears Mark Carney is dropping Trump in favor of getting into bed with Europe.
He's at the NATO summit and said this: ..."Now we're working alongside the European Union to combat climate change, to achieve the sustainable development goals and to protect, amongst other things, academic and scientific freedoms."
Carney also said that we are the most European of all non European countries. What does that mean exactly? We're Canadians. Not Americans and not Europeans.
Our prime minister made many friends while head of the Bank of England and most of them were like him - woke, tree-hugging liberals who use obnoxious terms like sustanable development goals that mean nothing.
He may have nixed the carbon tax on gas for now, but you can bet your bippy that what we are going to get in its stead will make that tax look like pocket change.
And as per the picture above, it appears that Diana Carney still didn't get a makeover. Seriously? She couldn't wash her hair?

Not that we are proponents of swearing, but as they saying goes...stuff happens.
Trump lost it today with Israel and Iran and dropped the F-bomb on live TV. It was nothing short of a classic.
It appears that Israel bombed Iran after they were supposed to have stopped. However...a lethal missile hit directly into a safe room in Israel and killed 3 people instantly. We don't know who started the final folly, but for the moment, both sides have to stop.
Israel has to get back to some semblance of normal life. The people cannot function without sleep due to sirens every night. And the economy has to recover from almost two years of war.
But...until all the hostages - those alive and those deceased - are released, this war is not over. We hope that President Trump gets that.

New York is holding very important primaries today. Whoever wins will go up against Eric Adams in the race for mayor of New York.
As the saying goes, from the 8.5 million people who live in New York, these were the only two candidates they could find?
One is Andrew Cuomo who was the former governor of New York. He was accused of sexual harassment by over a dozen women. Extra special. He is, in reality a slimeball.
The other candidate is Zohran Mamdani, a 33-year-old democratic socialist endorsed by the 'progressive wing' of the Democratic party. That means AOC, Ilan Omar, Rhashid Tlaib are all endorsing him.
It also means he thinks that Israel is the aggressor, is committing genocide and deserves to be pushed into the ocean.
In other words, he is a very dangerous individual and if he wins, the democrat party is basically done. They can interchange their name with any party in gaza or iran or any other socialist, terrorist government.

Well, our new president of the Public Health Agency will be very comfortable with this picture. Yonge and Dundas in Toronto has become a street mosque.
Toronto’s busiest intersection is constantly being brought to a standstill not by traffic, not by protest, but by rows of men falling to the pavement in coordinated public prayer. And the city just watches as per the police standing around.
Toronto is home to countless mosques. There is absolutely no shortage of spaces for prayer. So who gave these morons the right to block tens of thousands of people from getting to work, class, appointments, or simply living their lives?
Who gave them the right to take over public streets at will?
Who decided their spiritual display should trump everyone else’s basic freedom of movement?
And what exactly does a public prayer spectacle in downtown Toronto do for anyone in Gaza?
The silence from our so-called leaders equals endorsement. Nothing more, nothing less.
And if Americans are watching: steer clear of Toronto until someone there grows a pair.
We'll talk...
