Taking Back the Narrative...Canada's Immature 'First Lady'...A New Level of Moronic Bureaucrats...Ferrada is on the Right Track...

There was an article in today's National Post written by a Jewish student of Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). She detailed how her group (Students Supporting Israel - SSI), planned an event featuring speakers from the IDF, giving students an opportunity to ask questions and hear first hand perspectives.
Her group tried doing the event on campus, but TMU refused them, citing ambiguous safety concerns. They rented a private room off campus and kept the event as under the radar as they could.
Anonymous imbeciles got wind of the location and stormed the event, smashing a window to try to get into the room. It had to be a very frightening experience.
We have an issue with how this was handled from start to finish starting with the tone of her article: "We were terrified and crying. We had followed every rule. We exercised caution. And still our safety was compromised."
For starters, hope is not a strategy when you're planning an event near a campus that openly advocates for hamas and gaza. Did no one think for a second that holding their event just barely off campus was not going to be discovered? Please. That is purely naive.
At what point do we begin to take charge of the narrative?
At what point do we say we are holding this event and as such quietly bring in our own people to deflect what was surely going to happen?
Crying, being terrified and then announcing it in the National Post is exactly how the narrative is lost.
Here's a headline: In our little town of Hampstead, we just had an election. One of the issues was that our town flies the Israeli flag. And many people did not like the openly Jewish stance of our mayor Jeremy Levi. 'He should stick to Hampstead issues.'
Hampstead is predominately Jewish. When people were tearing down hostage posters, Levi made it very clear that if you were caught doing that, you would be prosecuted to the letter of the law and fined $1000. If people drove around with palestinian flags, they would be run out of our town.
The message was received loud and clear. Unlike Montreal and Westmount who turn a blind eye to what are openly Jew-hating gatherings disguised as protests for gaza, Levi showed strength. Show up and we will deal with you.
This is a lesson for that student in TMU. Do your event and advertise it. Don't hide like a scared rabbit. And make it very clear that no disruptions will be tolerated. And then hire the biggest, badest people to stand at the door. Strength is the only thing 'they' understand.

You want to know what calibre of moronic (that’s a very polite term) bureaucrats are running this country, getting paid by you? Keep reading with this caveat:
When the person received the clip about this story, he himself was in the passport office sitting next to someone in a full burka, eyes only, ninja-level anonymity.
Here's the story: A young woman goes in to renew her passport, something that should not take very long. After looking at her documents, the genius on the other side of the counter said she cannot list Israel as her place of birth.
Direct quote from the bureaucratic brain trust: “We cannot put Israel as your place of birth.”
Stunned, the young woman asks why? Answer? No reason, just a repeat of the same nonsense, as though saying it twice makes it less idiotic.
But this young woman? Not a snowflake. Not even close. She wisely asked for the policy. The bureaucrats huddled like they were planning a moon landing, emerging with the following masterpiece:
Since Mark Carney “declared” that Palestine is a state, certain cities, Nablus, Jenin, Ramallah, and yes, Jerusalem can be listed as cities of the country of “Palestine.”
However, since the town she was born in is actually in Israel, they reluctantly put Israel back on her passport.
This is what happens when Mark Carney engages in sucking up to the UN and every other woke echo chamber that insists gaza is part of some imaginary country called palestine.
To repeat every so slowly for those who have the brain of a gnat:
Palestine. Does. Not. Exist.
You can get 150 countries to sign a bedtime story about it, bind it in leather, and stamp it with a gold seal, facts on the ground remain facts on the ground.

In the grand scheme of things, Canada's first lady, Diana Carney is not worth writing about. She is truly a nothingburger.
Given that, facts are facts. She is our first lady and when Carney shleps her around the world with him, she stands beside him and is photographed with him.
We wrote about how she looked at the Remembrance day event - like she just rolled out of bed. We were very surprised to read that many, many other people took notice.
We can't post every photo or comment but we can tell you what some of them said: 'Canada's First Lady is quite a looker.'
'How does the Prime Minister's wife not look presentable? She literally looks like she just got out of bed. Shouldn't she be representing all Canadians?"
Like it or not, her husband is Canada's prime minister. And like it or not, even if she thinks that makeup is the biggest pollutant on earth, she has a responsibility to Canadians - do not embarrass us. So we have some sage advice for Diana...
Grow up, get your act together, find someone to give you a makeover and start representing us like a first lady. Not like a pouting teenager who is taken kicking and screaming to school. And if you can't bother to get your act together, then stay home.

We had to fact check this to make sure it wasn't generated by AI or a bot on X. Turns out, it's true.
The Canadian military stated a few days ago that they would start to rely on an army of public servants to boost its ranks by 300,00. These pencil pushers would be trained to shoot guns, drive trucks and fly drones, according to a defence department directive.
Federal and provincial employees would be given a one-week training course in how to handle firearms, drive trucks and fly drones.
We were thinking how out of shape many of the civil servants are as they sit at desks at least 8 hours a day. But then, mercifully, our fears were allayed by this statement:
The entry criteria for the Supplementary or other Reserve should be less restrictive than the Reserve Force for age limits as well as physical and fitness requirements.
So now we can have Melvin, who weighs about 300 pounds and hasn't seen his toes in about ten years learning how to handle a firearm to one day save us. Blanche, don't you feel safer now?
And then...our top soldier, Chief of the Defence Staff Gen. Jennie Carignan and defence deputy minister Stefanie Beck had second thoughts about all of the above and reversed their decision. Phew.
Carignan claimed her plan was never focused directly on public servants even though she wrote that the mobilization plan “should initially prioritize volunteer public servants."
And this is our military. They can't find their way out of the corn flakes box to make any decisions. If we ever, G-d forbid really needed our military in big numbers there are two options: a) surrender or b) ask Trump to help us.

Please note: As we wrote on Tuesday, Toronto is planning fly the palestinian flag on Monday.
Here's why: Toronto, led by Olivia Chow, is cheering on the recognition of Palestinian Independence Day, which takes place two days prior.
Thanks to Chow and Carney, radical muslims are being welcomed with open arms to Canada.
Note that Chow is planning to run for mayor again next year. Perish the thought.

You know Montreal's new mayor, Soraya Martinez Ferrada is on the right track with cyclists when they start to threaten her.
Bike riders will gather Sunday at the partially built Réseau express vélo (REV) bike lane on Henri-Bourassa. The goal is both to 'celebrate' the protected bike path, which is part of a larger overhaul of the boulevard, and push back against any possible rollbacks from the new administration.
Ferrada said there would be an audit of the bike paths when she gets into office. And what's wrong with that? We'll tell you. Nothing.
Plante put bike paths on streets that cause danger to cyclists, pedestrians and cars. There was no planning, no investigation, no checking to see what would happen to a street if a bike path was put there. Nothing.
Just put as many bike paths as we can until we leave office. Screw the drivers.
We sincerely hope Ferrada doesn't cave and stands her ground.
Good Shabbos
We'll talk...
