THE AGONY OF ISRAEL AND THE JEWISH PEOPLE

Below are small excerpts of a searing article written by Vivian Bercovici. She encapsulates what we are all feeling. The article is brutal in its honesty. It's title reveals a small hint as to what lies in the paragraphs below: The Israeli Hostage Torment: Does it Ever End?

...Ten civilians at a time. Women, children, the elderly and the sick. Children with their mothers - if they have not been murdered already. At least 50, we were told, were to be freed over four days.

...Hamas decides which children and women will leave their fathers and spouses behind in that unspeakable hell. What can we do but watch the pain, the agony that is tearing Israel apart.

...As do many Israelis, I vacillate between despair and guarded hope. Publicly, we pretend. But privately we all ask one another. Where does this all lead?

Montreal's one and only airport serves a relatively large cosmopolitan city while operating like it's the airport for a mom and pop little town, say, oh like pointe aux pic.

To get to the departure area, one can conceivably sit - on the one and only road to the departure area - in traffic for two hours. Having someone pick you up at arrivals? Buddy - you're in the same departure line, ergo you just added another hour to your wait.

The geniuses at the airport have concocted one of the dumbest ideas known to man to fix this issue. Whoever let these dudes fix this problem is like letting the wolf watch the henhouse. These people caused this problem by a) not having the foresight to see that maybe, just maybe Montreal would grow and b) designing this road clearly after about 10 martinis...in a row.

Here ya go: Passengers will be able to choose (their poison) between going to the main drop-off zone at the front of the terminal or travelling more quickly to a remote area served by a shuttle service. The shuttle journey will take about five minutes.

Two things stand out in this mess: the remote area and it will take 'about five minutes' to get to the airport.

Here's are some questions: are these remote areas in a building or do people have to stand outside and wait in an open parking lot in the middle of winter for their shuttle?

Who will help Myrtle haul all her suitcases onto the shuttle? The bus driver? That means every five minutes becomes every 15 or 20 minutes unless they plan on having 20 drivers which is highly unlikely.

Dumb, dumb, dumb idea to a problem caused by incompetents and we vote to defund stupidity.

Today is Thanksgiving in the USA. It is such a big deal that the days before and after Thanksgiving are the biggest travel days in that country. Even bigger than christmas. In New York, the day is celebrated with a huge parade sponsored by Macy's.

This year the vermin that stupidly call themselves pro-palestinians blocked the parade. Blanche do you think that blocking this parade is going to help the arabs living in gaza? What? You said no? You win the prize.

Here's our suggestion for those morons: Put your money where your mouth is, get on a plane and go help the 'poor palestinians'. Blocking parades in New York is self-serving drivel and nobody cares what they think.

In fact, what they did makes people despise the vermin that live in gaza even more because 99% of the population knows that blocking the parade is a royal pain and nothing else. Mental midgets who were sold a bill of goods.

We wonder how long they would last under sharia law? Our guess is five minutes when the women found out they can't leave the house without a male accompanying them - and that includes their ten year old brother. These idiots are on the wrong, wrong side of history.

Francois legault is tanking in the polls. Don't celebrate quite yet because it is quebec's separatist party that is eating up the popularity contest.

The defunct liberal party is basically dead so we can't rely on them at all. It's too bad because if they had chosen a leader they would have most likely been doing well now. Instead they have become a dust mite in history. But we digress.

Legault's education minister - drainville suspended three clauses found in Bill 23 which allowed the quebec bureaucrats to take over all school boards. Here ya go:

one that would allow the government to name on its own the directors general of English school boards,

a second to give itself the power to annul decisions by boards and

a third that would require boards to produce annual management agreements.

Can we talk? Drainville and his collaborator Pascale Dery who, like a traitor, repeated legault's fantasy that international students are causing the french language to disappear. In that vein, he doubled the fees of international students going to university in quebec.

We are of two minds here: the universities in quebec are hotbeds of anti-Semitism and for our part, they should all burn to the ground.

On the other hand, legault made up a story that he could not corroborate. In other words, there is zero proof that international students are the cause of the french language disappearing. It's not the cause and the french language is far from disappearing.

As for the school boards - he knows he's tanking and that people are beginning to really despise him and he doesn't like that one bit. How about this: Pascale Dery should get together with legault and drainville and make a one-way ticket outta here permanently. Disgusting.

We don't live in Israel and as such feel that who are we to say anything or give any advice. We are not doing that. We are asking the following questions which we will give our opinion on:

Last night at a press conference Netanyahu said that Israel will hunt down the hamas leaders wherever they are in the world. You realize he was talking about the very people who were about to release children who have been held hostage for six weeks? Did he think those leaders were going to just lay down and wait to be killed?

Nope. Hamas rejected the transfer of the abductees and demanded guarantees that Israel will not eliminate its leaders. Somehow this issue got solved, we are presuming with the aid of the US and maybe qatar.

The second issue is on a human level: 50 hostages - most women and children in exchange for 150 older teens and young adults held in Israeli jails for throwing rocks, molotov cocktails, trying to stab Jews in Jerusalem etc. This is what the world sees as fair?

Israel has no choice. They have to do what they have to do. But the word fair should be eliminated from the English language. Nothing here is fair.

Good Shabbos

We'll talk...
