Montrealers are dealing with a bus and a postal strike simultaneously while the rest of Canada got lucky and is dealing only with the postal strike.
What are we hearing from our 'leaders'? Radio silence.
Montreal's Mayor Valérie Plante is busy running around New York attending some kind of climate change conference which is more pointless than she is.
Our newbie prime minister is busy galavanting in Europe pretending to drum up business. He certainly dropped the ball with the post office announcement, sending a lacky to deliver a message of death and thought the posties would lie down and get rolled over. All while making himself look like an international politician - which he is not.
Big mistake there buddy.
We find it astounding that no level of government - not municipal and not provincial has even commented on either strike.
Let's start with the bus strike. Imagine you are a nurse working the 3:00 -11:00 pm shift and the buses only start running at 3:45. And, you live in an area with no trains, at least 15 miles from where you work. An Uber is probably $50. You have no car. How exactly are you getting to work?
Here's an idea. Listen to the 'sage' advice of Valerie Plante who clearly lives in an Ivory tower and told people to ride their bikes to work or better yet, walk. It's good exercise.
Then there's the postal strike. As one astute Blanche reader wrote: How does stopping home delivery (by striking) protest the threat of stopping home delivery?!
To add to the total incompetence of our 'leaders', there is not even a whisper as to when either strike will be over.
It is jaw-dropping how people voted in by the public are unaccountable for anything. They shrug, they spin, they run away to fake conferences and somehow it’s always the taxpayers - you and me - left holding the bag. Infuriating.

Yesterday, a group called palestine/hamas first pro-jihad convoy entered Niagara Falls. They then proceeded to over their city streets setting off smoke bombs along the road facing Niagara Falls filled with visiting tourists.
This is called intimidation and it's working. What we want to know is this:
When a so-called peaceful protest turns into shrieks for death to the Jews aka from the river to the sea - the eradication of a people or a state - why the police don't come in and stop the 'protest'.
Throwing smoke bombs, praying in the middle of the street to stop traffic is called intimidation. It's no longer a protest. It is done specifically to scare people. And yet, the police don't get involved. Rather, they stand around watching.
Here's a headline for all those geniuses: First they come for the Jews. Then they come for everybody else.
The end of the graphic above - then they came for me - is...and nobody was left to save me. Wake up. Wake up.

Eric Adams has pulled out of the mayoral race in NYC. Unfortunately, as things stand now, it ain't gonna help keep Mamdani out. He's too far ahead for Cuomo. to catch him. Unless...
Curtis Sliwa drops out. He has received more than a half-dozen calls on behalf of wealthy people urging him to end his campaign for mayor of New York City. He's not biting and threatened to reveal the names of those bribing him.
Sliwa has no chance to win and if he doesn't quit soon he will ensure a Mamdani win. If he were a bigger man, he would take a bow. Alas, it appears he's just another dude with a big ego.
If you haven't been to NYC in a while, may we suggest you visit before the November election? If Mamdani wins...watch out.
You will see the likes of Al Sharpton, Bernie Sanders, Hillary, Obama and every other nauseating woke, liberal, climate change, save-the-whales, trans, lgbtq+++ people banging on Mamdani's door to get a piece of the action.
And in case you cannot figure out what's going on in NYC here's something that will shake you up: Candidates running for city council in NYC are now doing full ads in Arabic.

In the do-you-know-who-I-am department, Serena Williams, the very, uber wealthy black tennis player seems to think that hers doesn't stink. It does.
First she went to a hotel in NYC and found - get this - a vase filled with faux cotton stems. It appears she was 'offended' because it reminded her of black slaves picking cotton in the fields.
It appears she has what is termed 'generational trauma'. Blanche, stop rolling your eyes.
We're not done.
She then went to none other than the Peninsula hotel in Paris, one of the most expensive hotels in that city and was ostensibly denied access to the rooftop restaurant.
She posted as such to her 19 million followers while neglecting to tell them the restaurant was fully booked and they sent her an apology. Being black had nothing to do with not getting in. It has everything to do with a serious case of the do-you-know-who-I-am syndrome.
If we tried to pull that kind of infantile behavior remembering how Jews have been persecuted for thousands of years, we would be unable to function.
This woman needs to get a life. And fast.
We'll talk...
