The Blanche Report Sunday Edition

So, the Air Canada flight attendants are throwing a tantrum because they’ve been told to get back to work. Meanwhile, you paid thousands for non-refundable tickets and a family vacation. Too bad for you. Your loss doesn’t matter, their “grievance” does so suck it up butterfly.

And of course, they didn’t just pick any time to do this. They picked the busiest travel season, deliberately choosing the moment when they could inflict the maximum amount of pain on the public and squeeze the airline hardest.

What’s baffling is whether they actually think they still have public sympathy. Because with every passing hour, fewer and fewer people give a rats about their salaries, their complaints, or their sob stories.

They are now bitching and complaining that it's not fair that the government is forcing them back to work. Here's a headline: they signed the contract they are now not happy with, which included not being paid until the plane leaves the gate. In fact, it's like that worldwide.

And now? They are ignoring the government's decree that they return to work.

We happened to be in an airport hotel tonight. If the people there are any indication of the mood, the best word to use is seething.

We saw a family of four kids and their parents, trudge into the hotel because they couldn't get home. Another couple lives in Arizona. Another one in Calgary. And nobody knows how long they will be in a hotel airport, for them in a strange city.

Air Canada and the flight attendants are running that company like Carney is running the government. Pardon the expression - ass backwards.

The decree from the government should have been issued before the strike. Not after it started and the planes and crews dispersed all over the world. Now?

It's who is going to blink first. And the only people who will suffer until one of those parties takes their head out of you-know-where, are the people who paid for tickets to an airline that assured them they would get to their vacation and then get home. All those people are collateral damage.

And well over 150,000 is a lot of collateral damage.

So the antisemite who attacked a Jewish man in the park while he was with his kids could have punched the Jew out because - get this Blanche - he was delirious from the heat.

You think we're making this up? We are not.

A criminologist who was not identified, has suggested the hot weather might have contributed to Preciado's actions that day. Temperatures reached a high of almost 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Boo hoo.

Let's start with 90 is hot but not sweltering.

So unless this guy is from the Arctic (which he clearly isn't) and never experienced such a hot day, that criminologist is either an antisemite, not playing with a full deck, delirious without the benefit of the heat or all of the above.

Either way he is another moron trying to justify antisemitism.

We'll talk...

thank you for another excellent synopsis of the air canada flight attendants grivances.

if they dont like their job, with or without benifits, just get another job! period,

re the attack on the jewish father,

no, 1, every orthodox jewish man and woman should carry pepper spray!

no.2, every orthodox jewish man should be proficient in krav navah, the israel. self defense system,

once one or two of these visious attackers see that we r capable of defending ourselves, and, inflicting pain on the perpetrator, they will think twice,

thank you,
