One month ago, Mr. Koeverden was on Instagram saying that Israel is committing genocide in gaza and that Canada has to stand strong for palestinians in gaza. One month ago.

On October 1, 2024 - one year after the October 7 massacres in Israel Mr. Ali said in parliament: Israel has a right to exist and defend itself. At the same time, Israel has to live with its neighbours in peace and let them live with dignity. Israel has no right to violate international law and humanitarian law.

These two dudes also signed their names on the "Vote Palestine" platform, pledging among other things to support a two-way arms embargo with an ally of Canada and to continue to fund organizations known to have ties with terrorist groups (UNRWA).

They also pledged to recognize a state of palestine which is essence rewards hamas for October 7.

It's pretty clear where Carney stands on Israel. Let's see what he actually says to make us think otherwise.

Mercifully, Melanie Joly is gone from foreign affairs although she was front and center today in her white pant suite grinning like an idiot.

She is now Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions.

She can be as ignorant as she was in foreign affairs but now no one will know. She'll have people to cover up her ignorance and stupidity.

Chrystia Freeland who was shuffled down to Minister of Transport and Internal Trade before the election, remained in that position. No matter what anyone says, it is a demotion from her role as Finance Minister.

Until we hear directly from Carney regarding Israel and what is happening to the Jews in Canada vis-a-vis the endless and ever-increasing antisemitic protests it's the same old, same old.

It appears that the majority of Israelis are done with this war. It also appears that many others do not think this way. One thing is clear - Netanyahu is not done with the war.

Once again, he's calling up the reserves to send them back into that hellhole called gaza. For what? To knock down the few buildings still standing? What exactly will that accomplish?

Hamas isn’t just a gang of barbaric terrorists. It is an ideology given to children from birth. And while Israel can try to root out what's left of hamas in gaza, the truth is they have embedded themselves within the population. The hatred remains. So does the mission to drive Israel into the sea.

Hamas has had more than enough time to do two things: disappear into the civilian population and rig every possible IDF route with booby traps. Sending Israeli soldiers back in under these conditions won’t achieve victory — only more bloodshed and heartbreak.

There are others who feel that Israel should continue the war and that reservists should indeed go back into gaza. We will posit that most of those people do not live in Israel and do not have children going to war yet again. They will sleep at night.

We will also posit that the second this war ends, so does Netanyahu's political life.

If there is one person who might force his hand, it’s Trump. If he turns up the pressure, Netanyahu may have no choice but to follow his lead.

Right now, there are three missions: bring the remaining hostages home alive, negotiate for the bodies and end the war.

Israelis deserve to live without this dark cloud hanging over their heads. Netanyahu is trying to save his legacy. These two goals do not align.

This is very complicated and very heartbreaking.

By now everyone has heard about the gift Qatar gave to Trump - a flying palace aka a 747 jumbo jet refitted for the royal family. It cost $400 million or so they say. And yes, this picture is inside the plane aka palace.

Before we launch into the issue of accepting such a gift, everyone wants to know vos titz ach - what's in the plane. Here ya go:

Two full bathrooms, nine lavatories, a main bedroom and guest bedroom, multiple lounges, a private office, and cream and tan-colored, oversized leather seating on both decks.

Nine loos? Seriously? We know people who just traveled overseas on a jumbo jet with 400 people. Maybe there were six bathrooms.

The big issue with this plane is that Trump should not really use it now. It has none of the security elements Air Force One has and, no doubt, has plenty of bugs - listening devices - built into every nook and cranny. Fixing that issue alone will take a year or two.

He is getting a plane that is outfitted for an emir, luxurious beyond and he won't take lightly to the air force dismantling those buttery soft leather seats.

Then there's the actual acceptance of the plane as a gift. White House and administration officials maintain that the gift is in compliance with relevant laws, despite concerns being raised by Trump critics about it violating the Constitution’s emoluments clause.

No matter what obstacles are put in front of Trump, you can bet your bippy that plane will remain his.

If Greta Thunberg disappeared forever, she would do the world a huge favor. Her parents made her into a 'star' when she was about ten years old using 'climate change' as her platform.

Unfortunately for her, climate change is no longer the rage and she has become irrelevant.

So what is she going to do? Simple. Pick up on the latest craze - hating Jews and Israel. Greta Thunberg has gone full hamas. Nobody is listening to her.

We hope her parents put away a lot of money for therapy because in a few years this girl is going to become an adult and realize that she's just another loser who went from one fake protest movement to the next and her five minutes of fame is long gone.

In the give-it-a-rest department, Kamala Harris and her aides are blaming Joe Biden for their monumental election loss. Seriously?

They contend that by remaining in the 2024 race until late July, Biden left Harris only 107 days to campaign against Trump.

Can we talk? Kamala Harris lost the election all by her little self. She cannot put two words together, cannot remember any files and covers it all up laughing like a hyena.

It was Jill Biden who couldn't leave the White House. Joe Biden was not in control of anything there for a very long time. The Harris group should get their act together. And if they are thinking of putting her up to run again they all need their heads examined.
