The Truth Will Come Out...Go Find A Mirror...The Perfect DEI Hire...

Finally we are not the lone voice in saying that the firebombing of the kosher restaurant Noam in Montreal may not be antisemitism and it is the owners themselves who are saying this. Speculating without confirmed facts serves no purpose.

Here is what the restaurant manager said: “We are trying to be guided by truth rather than fear … We know people are scared and feel the inarguable tear in the social fabric of the Montreal Jewish community, but until we know that this is a case of antisemitism, we continue to urge everyone to follow the facts.”

The truth is, no matter why the restaurant was targeted doesn't change the fact that for now it's gone. We can't make a reservation at the best kosher restaurant in the city. The one with the great vibe, the best cocktails, the to die-for pasta and pizza.

Our community has been deprived of one of its brightest gathering places. A restaurant that brought people together over good food, good conversation, and a shared sense of community. Whatever the investigators ultimately conclude, we hope Noam is back, and back soon.

For now, our suggestion is to wait until the police do their job (which we hope happens) and we find out what really happened.

If those running the medical system in quebec would take their heads out of their rear ends, they would realize, as we have said here many times, that this province and for that matter the country, needs a viable private-public medical system.

Imagine if there were private hospitals that would take patients away from the over-crowded emergencies? Imagine if people with money could pay for their surgeries which would then take the pressure off public hospitals?

To the thousands of bureaucrats running the medical system this is the kiss of death. So what's happening? Doctors are taking matters into their own hands and opting out of public healthcare (RAMQ in quebec) and going private.

More than two dozen medical specialists, including five anesthesiologists and four orthopaedic surgeons, opted out of medicare by mid-July and have gone fully private despite a law last year aimed at stemming the exodus of doctors from the public sector to the for-profit sector.

This is a very complicated issue but part of it has to do with the insane, draconian tests nurses must take to work in a hospital. It was the government themselves who pushed out the support staff.

And if there are not enough nurses and support staff for a doctor to use the operating room in a hospital, well, he or she will either leave or, as in this case, go private and hire the best and brightest support staff.

The government would do well to take a step back and look closely into the mirror. There's a reason doctors are either leaving or going private and the reason is staring the bureaucrats in the face.

As we said recently, there is no way Anthony Fauci will be going to jail. However, he will be kept on his little toes defending himself, most likely for the rest of his life, for what he did to people during covid.

His latest battle is in Florida where the attorney general has issued a subpoena seeking records related to COVID-19 vaccine safety and effectiveness.

The subpoena demands documents detailing what Fauci knew about the vaccines’ safety and efficacy and when he obtained that information. It also requests materials concerning any private doubts Fauci may have held while publicly promoting the shots.

Officials are examining whether the conduct could support claims under Florida law, including deceptive trade practices, fraud or public nuisance. It is to be noted that a federal presidential pardon applies only to federal offenses and does not bar state authorities from pursuing their own inquiries or potential cases.

You can be sure Fauci is getting really tired of all of this and just wants to retire and live happily ever after.

However, if there is any justice in this world, he will, instead, be spending all of his time and a really lot of money defending the indefensible. On the surface, he will appear to get away with it, but his life will be a virtual prison.

We could not resist this picture. Clearly the woman does not own a mirror. What happened to her neck?

Even for Mark Carney, this is really low.

He is sending Anita Anand, our erstwhile foreign minister to Benin and Côte d’Ivoire to "advance Canada’s Africa Strategy, build on our longstanding partnerships, and strengthen Canada’s engagement in West Africa and across La Francophonie."

Let's start with who ever heard of the country Benin? Certainly it never came up in any game of geography we played. It is a dot on the map in West Africa, on the Gulf of Guinea. The entire country has 14 million people.

Roughly 30–35% of people live on less than US$2.15 per day. A much larger share of the population lives on less than US$3.65 per day.

Now why did Carney send Anand to such a country where the daytime temperature is 30–38°C (86–100°F), hot and humid. Hotels have air conditioners but the electricity is iffy at the best of times.

Carney sent her there to either not have to deal with her for the next couple of weeks or because she's being punished for something she said or did, or, and this is our choice, because Carney is making her life a misery including embarrassing her by sending her to these places.

Remember, Anita Anand is a holdover from Justin Trudeau's years in government. Slowly but surely, Mark Carney has been replacing Trudeau's people.

If this assignment was meant to sideline her rather than reward her, she may not even realize it, which could explain why she keeps coming back for more.

How people who are ostensibly smart but clearly are not, end up in some of the country's highest-profile jobs is one of life's enduring mysteries.

This next story has nothing to do with anything in our lives, but it's so egregious, so outrageous, so snowflakey, that we had to put it in.

There's a dude by the name of Jason Arday who was hired by Cambridge University in England. He said was autistic and never spoke a word until he was 11 years old and did not learn to read or write until his late teens.

He also said he ran 30 marathons in 35 days, some allegedly on a broken leg, and raised £5.5 million for charity.

In case you didn't figure it out yet, he's black and coupled with being autistic makes hiring him by Cambridge fit almost every DEI buzzword perfectly. Alas, it appears he lied about every word of his biography and clearly did not run 30 marathons in 35 days.

He has resigned from Cambridge, who will now look like a bunch of snowflakes because they hired a liar, loser and massive fraud. Arday is of course staying the course but eventually he will be outed.

And one day Cambridge will also be outed for being totally corrupt.
