THE WORLD HAS GONE MAD. DO NOT GET CAUGHT UP IN THE MADNESS.

The hostages held by hamas must be released. All the hostages. Not just the women and children and not taking days and days to do so, which seems to be the deal on the table.

hamas is holding all the cards and as such they want 150 arab prisoners in return for 50 Israeli prisoners, mostly women and children.

What is particularly galling is that up until now hamas has not allowed the red cross to see any hostages, including small children. Wait. The red cross has condemned Israel for its responses to what hamas did. Oh wait. The red cross is closely associated with the united nations.

Nothing further to say here. Both are places of darkness and evil.

Israel cannot get caught up in the madness, the noise of the world. The vermin known as hamas need to be neutralized and for whatever His reasons, G-d put the Jews in charge of that. In essence, Israel is in charge of making sure that western civilization remains as is.

We pray, as does the rest of the civilized world, that Israel is successful in this endeavor and that includes getting every hostage back. Just get the job done and get out of that hellhole.

Anybody remember Nixon's Saturday night massacre? We'll remind you. Nixon fired U.S.

Attorney General Elliot Richardson and Deputy Attorney General William Ruckelshaus, after both refused to fire special Watergate prosecutor Archibald Cox who was going after Nixon during the Watergate scandal.

What does this have to do with us? Plenty. But before we tell you here's a mini editorial.

When we vote in western civilization, it is done in a democratic way. No violence. We just color in our little circle, then people count the ballots, then someone wins the election. Unfortunately, that seems to be where democracy is now ending.

When did elected officials decide they were entitled to rule over their plebs like fidel castro with zero accountability.

Such people are found in all levels of government, but in Montreal we have someone particularly special in this regard.

Valerie Plante is about to fire Isabelle Beaulieu, president of the city’s public consultation office. If you recall, it was Madame Beaulieu who outed Dominique Ollivier, Plante's now former president of Montreal’s executive committee, for her extravagant spending of OPM - other people's money and then, horror of horrors, also outed Madame Plante for the same thing.

So what is Madame Plante doing? Of course firing the messenger, the person who outed her. How dare Beaulieu tell people how Madame Plante spends our money? Does she not know who Madame Plante is??

That's what Nixon tried to do and you know what happened to him. Or if you don't we'll tell you. He was forced out of office. We sincerely hope that the next person sitting in Beaulieu's seat does what she did and is not afraid of Madame Plante who's arrogance is totally out of control.

McGill university held a referendum yesterday. The group solidarity for palestinian human rights McGill voted that they will no longer will tolerate their university’s remorseless complicity in the occupation of Palestine and the destruction of its people.

In essence these students want Israel off the map. Gone. Eliminated. Of course they don't come right out and say it, rather they elude to it. What they are too uneducated to realize is that palestinian 'human rights' do not exist. There are no human rights in gaza.

8,400 students voted in the referendum, representing 35 per cent of eligible voters. In all, 5,974 voted for the policy and 1,620 voted against it.

While it as become 'normal' for university students to be much more liberal than older, working people, these students have ignored the October 7 massacre in Israel, done by hamas. This generation has less than no knowledge of history. Nothing.

In quebec they are taught about samuel de champlain. Read a newspaper? Nope. They get their news from Tik Tok or twitter or telegram or take your pick of any social media site.

Nothing is checked and everything is believed at face value. Even if hamas posts it.

Not one alumni should give a penny to McGill. Let them rot with their liberal students.

UPDATE: The quebec court of appeals will not allow this motion to go through. They will review both the proposal and the mcgill student union. A final decision will be made in March.

Did anyone happen to see Javier Milei, ex free market economics professor and punkt the new president of Argentina?

He makes Boris Johnson look like a GQ model. Seriously? That hairdo? Wait. Is it his hair or is he wearing a 'piece'? Hard to tell but if it is a piece, it's a great one. But we digress.

Let's start with his desire to move the Argentine embassy to Jerusalem. We already like him. But then he did things like come on stage with a chainsaw saying he was going to cut Argentina's inflation rate from 130% to something lower.

Claiming his 11-point victory margin as a mandate, Milei has already smartly formed alliances with establishment conservative parties that may be able to help him pass his economic program through Congress.

He also wants to make Argentina's currency the USD from the peso. He's either the biggest buffoon or a very charming, highly intelligent politician.

In the let-them-eat-cake department, legault is winning the prize. Right now the teachers, nurses and other unions have gone on a three-day strike.

Yes the nurses deserve and should get more money. Same with the teachers. And yes, legault is a fool to announce at this time that he's spending $7 million on two hockey games. And a fool for giving his elected officials a 30% increase in salary when he won't pay the nurses and teachers.

Here's the problem: No matter how much you think these people deserve a raise, if the unions keep their strike going to long they will lose public support. People need their kids in school and if you're in a hospital you need nurses to take care of you.

They better find another way to embarrass legault because he's holding the cards.

Back to the arrogant, do-you-know-who-I-am legault. Here's what he just said: “A government which signs a contract respects its word.” What a crock that one is.

That line is referring to spending $7 million of your tax dollars to bring the LA kings hockey team to play in quebec city to show off their new stadium and hopefully get an NHL team to quebec city.

Get real dude: You made the laws where people here for more than 3 years have to take french tests. Exactly which hockey players are going to get mired in that bs because they play on a quebec team? We'll tell you. None.

This $7 million will be squandered away because hey, how easy is it to spend OPM?

We'll talk...
