On Sunday the terrorist group al-shabob issued a serious threat to malls in America and London, specifically Jewish owned malls. They issued a dare to muslims living in America to take up arms and murder the infidels. The response from the RCMP is that Canadians should feel safe and there is no imminent threat to the West Edmonton mall.
The Mall of America located in Minnesota was also targeted. Their response? Extra security had been put in place.
There is a fine line between creating panic and being realistic. It is well known that malls are what is referred to as ‘soft targets’. Israel learned that lesson long ago and no one can enter a mall without going through metal detector, having their purse or knapsack checked and being looked over by an expert security agent. We will jog your memory reminding you about the attack on the very upscale mall in Nairobi Kenya last year.
Our issue with this is that we are not fools. No, we will not stop living, but don’t pander and say there, there dearie, everything’s going to be ok. They don’t know if anything is going to be ok and shouldn’t give out statements that ring hollow. That tunnel that was uncovered recently in Toronto is mighty strange. Actually, it was discovered a couple of weeks ago, but the police felt there was no urgency to alert the public. Really now? Can we talk?
Here are a few questions: What kind of people build tunnels in the middle of winter knowing that there is a huge sports venue just above? Does anyone know what kind of expertise it takes to build such a tunnel? We’ll enlighten you. A lot of expertise. It was six feet high, had lights and a generator. Did anyone figure out why there were no outward signs of dirt around the tunnel? Did anyone take fingerprints of all the equipment left behind?
Here’s what we think. That tunnel was going to be used for something very nasty. Whoever was building it was not yet finished, although now they are both finished the tunnel and hopefully finished living outside jail. We hope that someone finds them asap.
We hope this next little ditty doesn’t render you apoplectic. New York’s Columbia University is home to the worst antisemitic activity in the United States. We hope you are not surprised because it is also home to many of the liberal Jews who made sure the world is enjoying Obama and his lovely wife for another four years.
Columbia University is listed first because it is home to the “most well-known antisemitic professors in the nation such as Rashid Khalidi and Joseph Massad. They have been accused of harassing Jewish students on multiple occasions. In addition, they have recently brought BDS founder Omar Barghouti to campus.
In case you don’t know what BDS is, we’ll tell you. The BDS Movement stands for Boycott Divestment Sanction and is the latest effort to isolate Israel and create new Boycotts on campuses.
The rest of the group? Cornell University came in second place followed by George Mason University, Loyola University Chicago, Portland State University, San Diego State University and San Francisco State University. Rounding off the list was Temple University, University of California Los Angeles and Vassar College. Take note if your kids are registering for university next year. We were not sure what to think of this until we heard the whole story. Last night, five cars were vandalized in a garage in the highly Jewish west end of our city. Swastikas were painted on the cars and some had windshields broken. What caught our attention were the envelopes left in the cars. Each envelope contained a note with a bullet inside, stating basically that this bullet will be yours.
Even if this was done by a teenage vandal or vandals, the note is chilling and very nasty. Whoever did this needs to be first jailed for a long time and then educated or, if it turns out they are immigrants, turfed out of Canada. Oh yes, where are the politicians and what are they saying? Not much as of this writing.
In case you forgot, we’re reminding you about Global warming. Yes Blanche, that weather pattern that is supposed to warm the world. Seems it has entirely missed North America. Record and sustained frigid temperatures have encircled us for weeks. People are exhausted from the cold, tired of staying home at night due to the feeling of walking into a huge freezer when going out. We don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but according to the weather forecasters, this weather is staying put for the next 3 or so weeks.
Blanche, go git dat dere heater in da basement, den git da marshmallows and let’s have a parteeee.
We’ll talk…
