Was Justin Smoking a Joint when Offering $2000 per family to learn about camping?

We simply cannot make this up. Justin Trudeau must have been smoking a joint before announcing  today that families will get $2000 to teach their children about camping. The plan calls for an expansion of the Learn to Camp program, which Trudeau hopes will give 400,000 kids each year the chance to go camping. Blanche, can you believe that someone actually sits in a room and thinks these things up? Justin Trudeau is a man who not only never grew up, but doesn’t want to grow up. And he’s our prime minister? And he could get elected again?

Anyone who is thinking of voting for this guy should go canoeing on Beaver lake while wearing very fancy socks, smoking a joint thinking about what they are doing to our country.

The massive climate change march that is happening all over the world could be the largest group hug known to man. It’s feel-good at its finest.

How will it help in terms of our climate? It won’t.  The same nothing that candles lit on a street where a mass shooting happened does.

Many of the issues regarding our climate are due to countries like India, China, Pakistan and Russia. There is no middle class in those countries, only very rich and very poor. Worrying about what their coal mines are doing the rest of the world is second to last on their to-do list.

We were in Hong Kong where the air is literally yellow with smog. Who is going after them? Or how about going after someone like Bill di Blasio, mayor of New York, one of the biggest climate change mouths around, who uses his massive SUV to go three blocks to his local gym. Or those very famous climate change conferences in remote, stunning venues where everyone has to take a private jet to get too. We won’t even mention Al Gore, the mother-of-all-climate-changers who made a fortune off this entire thing.

Until the big mouths orchestrating these marches prove that a)they are doing more than getting their pictures taken, oh, say like Justin Trudeau and b) are doing something that actually makes a difference in their lives, we don’t believe any of them. Come back to us when they walk the walk.

While we are certainly no fan of Sue Montgomery, we have to agree with her on the latest office de la langue Francis edict.

Her borough was accused of too much English spoken at council meetings, without proper summaries given in French, and too much English on borough correspondence — such as business cards in English on one side and French on the other side. Now that’s a major crime.

Not that we want to say we told you so, but we told you so. Francois Legault has no opposition per se as the Liberal party has only an interim leader. Coupled with that is his penchant for not quite sovereignty, but taking much glee in aggravating the English community.

When a person at a council meeting asks a question in English, the answer should be in English. Not French and English. Who cares?

Before Legault was elected we said that people better be careful what they wish for. We told you so.

Well, everyone can relax. Hillary Clinton is in favour of moving to impeach Trump. Phew. And we thought she was going to defend him.

The whistleblower who sparked this latest attempt to rid the world of Donald Trump is a former CIA agent.

Said person admits, “I was not a direct witness to most of the events described. However, I found my colleagues’ accounts of these events to be credible because, in almost all cases, multiple officials recounted fact patterns that were consistent with one another. In addition, a variety of information consistent with these private accounts has been reported publicly.”

Here’s another little tidbit…The whistle-blower’s lead attorney once worked for Senator Hillary Clinton. How convenient. We lost count as to what number of trying to impeach Trump this is.

One of Blanche’s faithful readers took the time to write and explain what happens when someone has Asperger’s syndrome, which Greta Thunberg has. She knows of what she speaks, as she has a child with this syndrome. As well, please consider this a general acknowledgement of our education in this matter. We had no intention of offending anyone.

These are the words of our reader: “I don’t believe her handlers coerced into anything. I believe they took advantage of her opinions, however erroneous, to make a point.”

The key to her words is that ‘they’, the handlers whoever they are, took advantage not only of someone with Asperger’s syndrome, but a child. Greta Thunberg is a child. That she thinks the world took away her childhood speaks volumes about what information her parents or others who her parents allow to be around Greta, give her.

As our reader said, “You can’t coerce a kid with Asperger’s to do anything.” While Greta is most likely a very bright young girl, she has been fed or found on her own, the reams of information on climate change.

To be clear, there is some kind of climate change, which there has been for thousands of years. The world is not ending in 12 years and climate change did not steal anyone’s childhood. These ridiculous and shocking statements diminish both the main issue and Greta’s tearful plea.

And that’s where everyone failed Greta, not giving her a chance to put things into perspective. If she can’t do that, then someone should help her.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish our readers a happy, healthy and sweet New Year. May we all be inscribed and sealed in the Book of Life. Good Shabbos, We’ll talk…
