Where in the world was Transport Minister Omar Alghabra when the airlines melted down during the Christmas holidays? Nowhere to be found.
Was he on vacation? Was he hiding in a cottage like Justin during the truck convoy? Did he have the measles? Did someone step on his phone?
He never contacted any of the airlines involved until January 5, way after people had slept in airports for a few nights, had flights cancelled and no airlines were answering their phones.
When it stinks, it stinks from the head down. Alghabra works for Justin who is slimier than a snake. The airlines know nothing will happen to them no matter what they do because nobody in Ottawa cares. Nobody enforces the regulations put upon airlines when they screw up.
So, when you fly and your flight gets cancelled and you have no one to talk to and all the hotels are full and you have to sleep in the airport for three nights suck it up because nobody is coming to help you nor will you be compensated.
And one more thing. Tell those airlines executives to stop saying they are sorry. The only thing they are sorry about is that they look bad. They could care less what happened to their 'guests'.
Tell it to the marines means that no one believes what you are saying. So tell this to the marines:
We are not by any stretch of the imagination conspiracy theory people. But when we see something that makes less than no sense and we are told that we have to believe it, we draw the line.
Do the powers that be think that we believe for half a second that the total shutdown of airspace - the biggest since 9/11 - in both Canada and the US at the same time on the same day with the backup system also not working happened because of a corrupt file? Seriously?
Let's start with the facts on the ground - pardon the pun: What 'failed' was something called NOTAM, which stands for Notice to Air Missions. Pilots who have been flying for over 50 years have never seen anything like this.
In a nutshell a NOTAM are notices containing information essential to personnel concerned with flight operations. These notices are on the ground information which happens in real time.
Before a flight takes off, pilots and airline dispatchers must review these notices, which include details about weather, runway closures or construction and other information that could affect the flight. The system was once telephone-based, with pilots calling dedicated flight service stations for the information, but it has moved online.
The NOTAM system broke down late Tuesday and was not fixed until mid-morning Wednesday in both the US and Canada.
Our guess as to what happened: this was a test run for the real deal which is coming. Clearly someone or some group was able to hack into the system. This time they watched how the transportation department and airports dealt with the issue - poorly. Next time they will completely take over the system and demand a huge ransom to get it back up and running.
We find it one of the bigger wonders of the world how the woke culture is always able to outdo itself. The latest completely off the wall statement - gas stoves could cause cognitive issues.
Leading the train on this latest woke bs is none other than AOC - Alexandria Ocasio Cortez. This genius tweeted the following: Did you know that ongoing exposure to NO2 from gas stoves is linked to reduced cognitive performance?
Ms. AOC has a history of saying things that are not true. We were going to say she talks out of her rear end, but that would have been crass.
The kicker in this? A screenshot emerged that Ocasio-Cortez posted on Instagram of her cooking in what appears to be her kitchen using a gas stove. She's really an idiot.
A doctor tweeted a response exactly what we would have written, so here ya go: Is this a self diagnosis? AOC, as a medical doctor, I can tell you this: what’s wrong with your head IS NOT caused by stoves. Something WAY BIGGER is causing your decreased cognitive function!” Touche.
The Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers got into the picture today and said there are “simple steps” consumers can take while they are cooking, such as opening a window - what a revelation, turning on a ceiling fan - what? flipping a switch, or using a range hood to mitigate any harmful emissions.
Open a window? Turn on a switch? Obviously this requires more intelligence than Ms. Ocasio Cortez has.
Ticking off huge corporations like US manufacturers like Whirlpool and General Electric as well as overseas companies like Samsung and LG is not going to get you very far. Especially when you have not the faintest hint of a clue what you are talking about.
But wait. There's more.
Believe it or not, the California woke bs culture has outdone the New York woke bs culture. Guess what word has been banned at the University of Southern California? Come on. Guess. Here ya go. The word field.
Now you are asking yourself why does the word field o.f.f.e.n.d. the sensibilities of the woke culture?
In the Ripley's believe it or not department, the USC School of Social Work sent out a decree eradicating the word ‘field’ from their curriculum because... it is considered anti-black and anti-immigrant.
They removed ‘field’ from their curriculum and practice and replaced it with ‘practicum.'” So when you speak about a corn field you will now have to say corn practicum. Or how about sending the cows out to the field to graze? Now it's send the cows out to graze on the practicum.
When calling boys and girls to the soccer field they now have to say the following - "Make sure you are on the soccer practicum on time.”
This is not an April Fool's joke as we are in January. The truth is, the woke culture is very quickly making absolute fools out of themselves. Even those with the brain of the gnat cannot be taking them seriously anymore.
Can we talk? How is it that when top secret documents are found in not once, not twice but three times in the home of Biden the media is trying very hard to make this go away? But when Trump's top secret documents were uncovered the media were screaming for his blood.
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre - now there's a beauty - ignored questions from reporters about the findings. She said that as this is an ongoing process under the review of the Department of Justice they are going to be limited on what we can say. Really? Nothing like a double standard eh Blanche?
While each case will be assessed according to its own legal merits, the possibility that Trump would face criminal action for having documents in his house – for many voters – appear to broadly mirror Biden and might make any prosecution politically unsustainable.
Let's see how Biden gets out of this one, even with his holier-than-thou press secretary trying to put a lid on this story. As we have said before, Karine Jean-Pierre is more than perfect for her job: black, a woman and gay. Doesn't get any better for the woke people unless she decides to become a he. Update on this story: U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland announced Thursday that he has appointed a special counsel to investigate President Joe Biden over classified documents that were found in a private office and in the garage at his home. Good morning America.
