Anthony Housefather wrote an opinion piece in the National Post entitled “ Combatting Hate Actually Protects Communities of Faith.” He spends much of the article explaining, correctly, that no one should be intimidated, obstructed, or harassed when they want to pray in their houses of worship. On that narrow point, he is right. But he misses two glaring and inexcusable realities. First, Jews do not only need protection inside synagogues, schools, or community centres. Jews ar
